After a week of adjusting I feel like I finally got a foothold on 96. It’s just way too tempting tryna stagger ppl on holds with the midrange 2 shot and that makes me forget this thing has turtle strafe speed and the fact I have 2 slayers in front of me oops.

Last week of comp was pretty rough for me ngl. I didn’t really perform well both in practice and in tournaments. Part of it is bc of my new internship but I think more so due to my recent podium results in div 5 caps. The self-imposed pressure of doing good creeps in my mind a lot more nowadays.

Meta adaption: I’ve always upheld the notion “pick a good weapon if you wanna win” in competitive games. Adaption and swapping to better options is simply part of player progression. If you want to one-trick sth like sword that’s fine but don’t complain when you lose when we all have free choice.

11.3 day 1 thoughts: -Carbon stocks are up up up -Zooka and splashdown got some nice QoL -Missile pro might be interesting -Tri gonna get picked even more -52 is 52 -Rip bow, pencil is still fine -1100hp vac is still more than enough

Ok as much as everyone hates 52 blaster: I think it’s in the game’s best interest to buff literally anything to match the top tier’s level of power. Nerfing 52 blaster is cool but that alone wouldn’t actually get ppl to play the game in its 4th year life cycle, esp if they’re not doing more 3rd kits

Cooler weapon diversity: One underrated aspect of this meta is the amount of viable cooler weapons rn. 6 out of 9 of them are relevant in comp building and only H3 is horridly bad. There are cooler options for every role and cooler output is fairly balanced. We came a long way since the pencil era.
