We found a non-authorized SSH session on the server. All passwords have been changed out. We are now re-configuring our proxy and firewall.

The major traffic increase seems to be a chinese AI scraper. We put some meassures in place, so services should mostly be restored and reliable again. There could still be timeouts here and there tho. An abuse report has been sent to the backbone provider.

The GitLab server was possibly compromised and is being reconfigured and decontaminated. Updates will be posted every 30-ich minutes from now on.
