Check out the new blog I put together with @robertjscott.ca about what's going on with the Ingress NGINX Controller retirement and why you should take this opportunity to shift toward using Gateway API to manage Ingress for your Kubernetes Workloads!

Google Open Source@opensource.google

For many, Ingress NGINX was our first step into K8s networking. With its retirement set for March, we’re sharing why Gateway API is the future of extensible, role-oriented traffic management. 📈 goo.gle/transition-f... What was your first "Hello World" in Kubernetes?

So far in chapter 1, I've learned about the various types of sensors required to build an autonomous vehicles, and the various roles they play in the decision-making systems (which I'll learn more about in future chapters).

My favorite new-to-me sensor so far is IMUs or Inertial Measurement Units, which are a collection of sensors including accelerometers & gyroscopes, used in lots of tech, like phones. The book mentioned that IMUs tend to accumulate errors, & how autonomous vehicles use GPS to account for this. Cool~!

For folks in the Seattle area- I’m speaking TOMORROW (Jan 27, 2026) at the AICamp meetup in Bellevue! I'll be sharing how I built the Podcast Assistant MCP Server to automate content workflows and reclaim creative time. Come say hi! Register here: www.aicamp.ai/event/eventd...

I'm thinking of starting a software testing/QA focused newsletter! (Well, I've actually started) QA is very broad & very deep in topics. I have a lot of different interests I’ll be writing about. What areas of QA interest you?

AI is technology. Technology has tradeoffs, has human use and security implications, has good use cases and bad. Needs tests. I am neither all hype nor all critic, we need a responsible middle ground because it’s here, and it’s not going away.

Anil Dash@anildash.com

We’re all on Bluesky because we think a better alternative was a good thing, instead of just saying “social media sucks”. Instead of just saying “all AI is useless”, saying “some folks find some utility here, so we should offer ethical, sustainable alternatives pretty fast” is the best option.
