Today I turned the big 6-0. My cheeky nephew gave me the bobble head. Pretty fitting. 💚💙 And I bought for myself the glassy baby. Now celebrating that my body is still functional with yard work and 🤞🤞 for a Ms win.

Watching the post game interviews. We have the most humble team. And forgot about EJ’s interview after Sam threw 4 ints in Rams game and how he stood up for Sam. And look how they responded from that point. Love these guys! 💙💚

Can the game start already? Been emotional all morning thinking about my dad who died 27 years ago today and my bf who died last March. Both die hard fans. And it was my parents who made me the sports fan I am today. We had Seahawks season tickets starting in year one, 1976.

Drs told him he’d just had weeks and wouldn’t see Christmas. My dad’s words, “Fuck that, I have a Super Bowl to watch.” Didn’t matter who played, we always had a huge party. And he held up to his words. And we threw the biggest party for him and he was so alert and awake during the entire game.

So many memories attending games with them. We would drive our motor home to the kingdome early in the morning and tailgate. We attended until my dad’s MS made it too challenging. I remember when he was dx’d with pancreatic cancer in October 1998.
