Just woke from a dystopian dream where Donald Trump was doing speeches in my Catholic high school (I graduated in 1992). Then, .time travel to today, I'm in the vet's office, my dog getting an xray on her leg (she is getting one today), and Roger and Jason come in, both smoking, to say good luck.

So, #Curethreads turns 5 years old this weekend. I really cannot believe it. In 2020 I had access to a textile mfgr in CA who outfitted sports players. They pivoted all their operations to make face masks for nurses, and took custom orders. I had 4 Cure-inspired ideas. #thecure #curethreads

Ok, this is getting serious now. My favorite ice cream brand of all time--Tilamook--has drastically shrunk its packaging, calling it a "New Look!" It appears all the major brands are shrinkflating but they don't pass it off as new branding. Or say it's on sale at the amount it always was.

I have been suffering from fits of coughing since I had a cold in January. I have been to PCP, DO, ENT, Allergist, Urgent Care, and no one has an answer dr me. It feels like I cracked a rib every time I start wheezing. I can't laugh without wheezing into a coughing fit. Got meds for allergies & GERD

I am extremely frustrated with the lack of urgency of these doctors. I can't teach. I can't exercise. I can't laugh. WTF. Is it menopause? Hormonal? I'm on HRT. Stopped for a while, started again, no difference.

*for me. Had chest x-rays, CT scan from mouth to clavicles. Full environmental allergy testing. Yes I know I am allergic to dust mites, I didn't know about cats & some trees, but I've lived with cats for over 12 years, and trees for 51 years. I live in PA. I visited Utah last week, same symptoms.

I learned a lot about sea otters while conducting research for illustrating The Secret Life of the Sea Otter (2022, Astra BFYR). My favorite sea otter fact: these super furry shellfish eaters carry their favorite oyster shucking rocks in specialized armpit "pockets" for future use. 🦦💚🩵💙

Like many animals that can fly, the #SuperbOwl has gyro-stabilized neck movements to allow it to maintain focus on prey in flight. They're not unique in this, but they are superb! This little guy is in a rescue for head trauma from a car strike. You can see the pupils don't match (anisocoria).
