A major vulnerability has been discovered in PHP (see the below article), and out of an abundance of caution, we've decided to take Knowledge Commons temporarily offline until the security patch has been released. KCWorks and Profiles are still working. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

Another update on the KCWorks launch 🗞️ We've noticed an issue where not all uploads to KCWorks are appearing in a user's account. If you log in and noticed items missing, please don't panic! Because we had to reload our database, it may take some time to repopulate. We'll let know once it's fixed. 💕

All areas of Knowledge Commons and our network nodes are up and running again. ❤️ Late last week, Knowledge Commons experienced a cybersecurity incident. As soon as members of our team discovered evidence of intrusion, our team took the site offline and began emergency investigation and remediation.

After extensive investigation, we have reason to believe that no data, and in particular no member information, was stolen or otherwise affected. We have implemented advanced security measures, and those measures helped us recognize, stop, and recover from the attack with minimal damage.
