Admittedly I've been nervous to try plein air painting in the real world in my city, but yesterday I just went and did it It felt much different than I thought it would, and I want to do it again Downtown Parkville, MO Acrylic on 6x8 Basswood

I practiced plein air painting with #wow, I plan on doing the same in #wowf when it comes out The shadows of trees were on a snowy bank on a path, it made me feel something so I painted it Dun Morogh, 23.5, 69.6 SE

My local art store is doing a dragon-themed exhibition for this fall's artwalk and I figured I might as well give it a go. Got until the 20th to submit.

I haven't known how to respond, when people ask me if I'm open for painting commissions, or make the assumption that I am and approach me I started to read 'How To Do Nothing' by Jenny Odell this weekend I understand how to phrase it better now,

I've given away 7 paintings away this year, including 2 to Canada this weekend; may do that more. This is a joy Giving a part of myself to someone else by choice, a reminder of me in their life, is a connection Happy to have a part of me on a shelf for someone I care about

"Aluminum?" Yes. I know someone who does metalworking, these are scraps from his shop. To paint on it I cleaned and de-greased the surface, sanded, metal primer layers and sanding in-between, and finally gesso and sanding in-betwen The smoothest surface I've ever painted on

CARIMARA: BENEATH THE FORLORN LIMBS IS OUT NOW ON STEAM a short horror story about ghosts, goblins and polite anxiety of asking too much. untangle the mysteries of a "ghost problem" haunting this unwelcoming, desolate house. even if it means digging up uncomfortable truths.
