I used to be super independent and didn't want anything from anyone- I just HAD to do everything myself... But the older I get the more and more I realize that it truly takes a village to make anything happen. Thank you everyone.

It isn't super fun that every time a new animated movie comes out, it's like, "you have to watch this to save animation. If you don't watch this, the future of animation crumbles to ash before your eyes" - once again low-key blaming the consumer for poor decisions

So crazy because this movie has so much to offer on every level- why aren't folks going to see it?

β€˜Forgotten Island’ has surpassed $20.6M in the global box office against a budget of $80M. It is unfortunately so far one of the worst performing DreamWorks films despite its critical acclaim.

I had these ready for a lil bit but never got around to posting them. Found a fun brush to play around with

To properly update here, I now work as a Programs Assistant at Third House Studios! Third House is a community arts studio and gallery located in the San Fernando Valley. It has been absolutely amazing working with them and if you live in the LA area u should come and see what's cooking ✨

ICE has been in San Fernando Valley, CA every day now for the last couple weeks targeting Panorama City, Pacoima, Van Nuys and surrounding areas likely working out of their new field office in Van Nuys. This was in North Hollywood this morning on Lankershim and Cohasset St. This is just one of many.

Can someone help me understand how making 200+ million in profit is "shy of breaking even"

Pixar has been hit the hardest on Disney’s round of layoffs. TheWrap reports that β€˜Hoppers’ is partially being blamed for the layoffs as the film was shy of breaking even at the box office after making $389.5M against a $150M budget.
