My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

My pal Danielle Koenig shared that her father Walter Koenig passed away last night at age 90. A performer whose kindness and warmth shone through the screen. He will be well remembered.

A child who lived on the Enterprise during "Q Who," "The Best of Both Worlds," "Night Terrors" and "Genesis" probably needs massive amounts of counseling. #TNGSunNight #StarTrek

Are Wake County principals underpaid? New survey says their salaries aren’t competitive. Compensation study found the pay for principals (which started at $87K) was not competitive with other districts, impacting recruiting & retention. www.newsobserver.com/news/local/e... #ncpol #nced #wcpss

Thank you @madonnaots.com for overseeing tonight’s science experiment. Back next week for a not very good series send-off to Wesley. #TNGSunNight

Great watch, everyone! 🖖🏻 Next week: (TNG s7.ep20 - Journey’s End) #TNGSunNight #TOSSatNight #StarTrekTNG #StarTrek

Whoever did Crusher’s reconstructive surgery deserves praise. #TNGSunNight

Picard should get the heck out of there and not test how quickly the retrovirus works on restoring Worf. #TNGSunNight

Proto-Klingons were scary. #TNGSunNight

That’s worth a Picard jump scare. #TNGSunNight

Those kittens are lucky they’re in Data’s quarters and not being eaten by any of the creatures now roaming the Enterprise. #TNGSunNight

I’m going to credit Gates McFadden with coming up with this unique overhead shot. #TNGSunNight

Leave Livingston alone. #TNGSunNight

That poor ensign is likely another Worf victim. #TNGSunNight

Troi has turned into a fish lady. #TNGSunNight

Why is everyone touching things with their bare hands? #TNGSunNight

I can see why “Genesis” won an Emmy for sound mixing. Whatever you can say about the science or the plot, the ambiance is good. #TNGSunNight

Someone parked the Enterprise crooked. #TNGSunNight

Worf’s body count of dead and injured crew keeps rising this episode. #TNGSunNight

You wonder what Selar was turned into by the virus. #TNGSunNight

It’s amazing Troi and Worf continued their relationship after this incident. #TNGSunNight

There’s a deleted scene where Riker comes on the bridge and asks why it’s so hot. Worf seriously raised the temp after Troi left. #TNGSunNight

I would not want to be the person who cleans up Worf’s quarters. #TNGSunNight

I can believe Barclay interacts better with cats than with people. #TNGSunNight

They did not do Gates McFadden any favors giving such a complex episode as “Genesis” for her first episode as a director. #TNGSunNight

Great job Worf. #TNGSunNight

It’s interesting that the original story idea for “Genesis” was to have Crusher accidentally turn the rest of the crew into Barclays. It would have been a nightmare given the state of 90s special effects. But it would have been fun. #TNGSunNight

Data isn’t a spay and neuter pet owner. #TNGSunNight

Barclay hasn’t been cured yet of his excessive use of Space WebMD. #TNGSunNight

Riker getting stuck by cactus needles while making out with a crew member in the arboretum is so Riker. #TNGSunNight

Here for some bad, bad science but good makeup. #TNGSunNight

Nexxxxxt weeeeeek.... #TOSSatNight #TASSatNight

Welcome back @tossatnight.bsky.social. Back next week for bad poetry. #TOSSatNight

After seeing their scenes in “Strange New Worlds,” I interpret this line as Uhura joking with Kirk based on their long-time friendship. #TOSSatNight #TASSatNight

Uhura is not playing around with Theela. #TOSSatNight #TASSatNight

Like shooting fish in a barrel. #TOSSatNight #TASSatNight

Theela isn’t all that bright or she’d do what she did later and use the Opto-Aud to find the missing men. #TOSSatNight #TASSatNight

About bloody time for Uhura. #TOSSatNight #TASSatNight

Doohan had a better singing voice than Shatner. #TOSSatNight #TASSatNight

Enervating is our SAT vocabulary word of the day for the Saturday morning cartoon crowd. #TOSSatNight #TASSatNight

Kirk is in heaven being surrounded by beautiful blondes. #TOSSatNight #TASSatNight

McCoy is such a romantic. #TOSSatNight #TASSatNight

It’s time for the women on the Enterprise to clean up after the mess the men have made. #TOSSatNight #TASSatNight

We end without knowing what happened to Ruth and Magda. Did they also have Eve’s power to change themselves without the drug? Did they stay with the miners or were the marriages annulled? #TOSSatNight

It’s a depressing ending for Eve. Now that has her confidence, Eve can do better than stay with Childress, even if he is filfthy rich. #TOSSatNight

This ending is just ridiculous. So the placebo also puts on your makeup for you too? #TOSSatNight

That’s one way to avoid an expensive wedding ceremony. #TOSSatNight

Double-jack is not going to replace Fizzbin as the next big card game. #TOSSatNight

You’d think some supposedly wealthy miners could have a bit more spruced up home. #TOSSatNight

Childress is a jerk. But he at least rescued Eve from the storm. #TOSSatNight
