Thinking of proposing a PHP RFC to be able to define class methods via an Attribute. And then be able to define method / function arguments using an Attribute. Which would all lead to my final RFC proposal to be able to define Attributes using an Attribute.

This article touches on much of what I talk to my team about around AI. In order to be any sort of developer worth their salt, you must have gone through the hard and easy parts alone. No vibes, no AI, just pure problem solving experience. Looking at the output of an LLM, you will never learn.

whitep4nth3r.comThe promise that wasn’t keptAI is distracting us from creating real value. While we chase speed and automation, meaningful and human-centered work is getting left behind. Is this progress?

Laravel Dev Partners, know that if you find your partner's search history filled with searches for "Laravel Relationships", they are not cheating. They are just bad at remembering which one uses associate and which one uses attach.

one of the most powerful forces is the need to be self consistent make one bad (or good!) decision and your brain _bends_ to align with it laugh at an over-the-line joke and find yourself a little later defending the indefensible we radicalise ourselves

Moving off of Twitter and onto here I feel has started to repair a lot of my feelings of what good a social media platform can be. Informative, kind, no ads, easy to use and consume without any particular narrative pushed to me that I don’t opt into. It’s great!

But especially with how small the community is here now I run out of posts to read. So with that and my own desire to be able to do so again, I’ve started to try and move back to reading more informative/long form content. So I picked up an RSS reader and have started to subscribe to blogs/feeds.

You are up to date.
