Don’t worry Dems. It’s just politics. You’re supposed to be good at big tent politics. So? Get good.

If you are upset with trans people for our reactions to candidate statements, then I would encourage you to call one of the candidates to complain about the statements. You can still vote for them, but let them know about your displeasure. The base pushing back makes not abstaining easier to swallow

Transgender rights are not a permission—they are the right to live itself 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 Existence doesn’t need any permission, you know. Why does the world treat something so simple as if it were optional? It is the baseline of being human ♡ Chiitan will keep raising their voice.

This drives me CRAZY. I grew up playing sports w/ boys. I played on a U12 boys select soccer team, b4 switching to a U12 girls team that kept beating us. Nobody had any issue with any of it. Youth sports have never had the strict sex/gender boundaries that “XX-XY” activists are now trying to defend.

I’m thinking about the XX-XY brand right now. It’s as toxic as Andrew Tate. May the founders of this brand meet a similar fate. There are 11 or 12 sex chromosomal pairs and lots of us TGNC and nonbinary and intersex folks walking the earth. Stop punching down. Learn. Make room for others.

Between Brazil and the women protesting in Argentina is breathtaking to see strong trans women in front, taking charge. Love this. Viva Brasilia!

So much to say about Brazil, not least of which is the role that Erika Hilton, a Black trans leader and most voted woman politician in Brazil, played in mobilizing folks for Lula. She was behind the critical, concrete, economic promise of shorter work-week. theprint.in/feature/erik...

Wonderful article. Thank you so much for writing, Thea. Helps me so much to better understand myself and our political climate. It might help others. Thank you so much for publishing, The Advocate.

Anti-trans laws often make exceptions for surgeries on intersex children. Thea Hillman explains why both communities' rights are at stake.

Anti-trans Democrats are spreading poison when we can least afford it, during elections in this ongoing fascist takeover. As a strategy, it’s a recipe for failure. As a moral stand, it’s reprehensible. PS I’m the father of young trans woman and I’ll never forgive anyone who makes her life harder.

I have become a single issue voter and this is the issue. Say "trans rights" or walk away without my voice. End of line.

We need all voices to rise up It’s not all about fighting Sometimes it’s a hug Love you, Chiitan 愛している

No matter your gender, you have every right to love and to be loved in return🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 Expressing that love should never be hindered or questioned. Such a basic human experience has somehow become overly complicated. Let’s come together and restore a world where love can be shown openly and joyfully.

1 in 5 are in for drug offenses. Release them without delay. Even more are imprisoned for non-violent crimes. Fine them, release them. 1 out of 3 prisoners are in jail, not prison. 2/3 are not convicted. Release them. Release them now.

This is what I mean when I say that at least 80% of our jail/prison population should be released immediately. We have 4% of the world's population, there's no way we should have any more than 4% of the world's prisoners. Probably less, in fact, to make up for more totalitarian nations.
