Tom the Event Horizon superfan

Hard to believe the entire male cast of Alien is gone.

R.I.P. Captain Dallas.

Very cool. I have one of the production made name decals.

As a neurodivergent person sometimes I can come across pretty strong, clingy, and needing of approval. If I've ever made any of you feel uncomfortable, just know that sometimes I can miss social cues and I apologize.

So what have we got here? A rare theater marquee for Event Horizon! #EventHorizon

@prysmos1980.bsky.social More details from Justin's airlock costume. So it verifies Jack Noseworthy wore it.

@prysmos1980.bsky.social Here are the issues of Event Horizon: Inferno. We get the tradebook next year.

@prysmos1980.bsky.social Here are issues of Event Horizon: Dark Descent you're missing.

With Allen Danziger who played Jerry in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

With Lochlyn Munro of Freddy VS Jason and A Night At the Roxbury.

I love meeting horror stars! With Felissa Rose, Allen Danziger, and William Vail. I'll be seeing William and Allen again tonight for a showing of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Just scored another rare Event Horizon piece. These movie mylars are hard to find and I've never seen this version before.

Chicago concert last night. VIP and front row center. Here's a photo with the band.

My backyard movie theater night was a blast!

I've built myself a backyard theater. Once it gets dark I'm breaking it in with my favorite movie.

I'd call Trump a piece of shit but that's not fair to shit.

Event Horizon: Inferno. Final issue with variations.

Happy birthday to Dr. Weir. We miss you. You were one of the greats.

I've got a rare piece of Event Horizon memorabilia on it's way. I had to charge my credit card for $300 but it'll be worth it. In related news, Sam Neill's birthday is on Monday.

Meow Wolf in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Embrace the bizarre.

Pluto is showing old episodes of COPS. Sooo many mullets!

Apparently it's Turd Remembrance Day.

Are any of my chums still actively using Bluesky anymore? I hope this platform isn't dying. I still have a lot to say about Event Horizon.

Just got back from a trip to New Mexico. One of the highlights was Breaking Bad stuff in Albuquerque. The actual Los Pollos Hermanos location (Twisters), Walter White's house, and a LPH photo op at the Breaking Bad museum.

New ink! I love it!

Today is tattoo day. I'm getting a childish and whimsical one that strongly contrasts from my horror and Event Horizon interests while also honoring my late mother. However I want another Event Horizon tattoo in remembrance of Sam Neill. Next is year is EH's 30th anniversary. Maybe I'll get it then.

I found this photo from 1943 in my grandparents' wedding album. My grandfather is guy in the middle with the white bow tie. I love how they all look like the Chowder Society from Ghost Story!

Tim Curry's RHPS advice, "Don't dream it, be it" are wise words for all of us who feel like outcasts and weirdos. Thank you for giving me the courage to stop worrying what all the normies think.

Wrong Home Alone 2 guy.

I'm all cried out now, 2026. You can stop already.

New Event Horizon hat for my mannequin to wear! #EventHorizon

It's sad that kindergarteners just aren't making ashtrays anymore.

Although I was not IN Event Horizon I've been ON the Event Horizon via VR. The Lewis & Clark is far cozier naturally while the EH is dark, huge, and unsettling. The medical bay makes me very uneasy and claustrophobic. The first containment (the meatgrinder) causes motion sickness.

Man, sometimes as an autistic adult nostalgia hits me hard where it hurts. I've found a couple childhood chums online. Hoping to reconnect.

One more post for Event Horizon's 29th anniversary. Ave atque vale: Hail and farwell.

Today is also the 29th anniversary of the release of EVENT HORIZON & I am so glad that I got to experience it again last October on the big screen: from-the-desk-of-the-horror-chick.ghost.io/halloween-sc... RIP, Sam Neill...you were a real one. 🖤

Well happy Event Horizon Day again, good people! I have now seen it 602 times! My second time in AI assisted 3D. I think the first 3D version I got worked better to be honest. 😐#EventHorizon

I think I'll wait until tonight but I have two versions of Event Horizon converted to 3D with AI. I've watched one already but I'll try the other conversion later. #EventHorizon

29 years ago today. #EventHorizon #SamNeill

I've started smoking a pipe but don't want anything addictive. I found this herbal blend that smells like a flower garden. Can you guess what one of the herbs is by the way the cat is reacting? LOL.

Event Horizon turns 29 years old tomorrow. Event Horizon day! How do you fans plan to celebrate? #EventHorizon @phubar.bsky.social

On my own for a full week and tweaked out my back again. 😟

And to top off the weirdness that is today, I watched Mother! which really doesn't help the notion that I'm living in a dreamlike simulation of reality where the simulation is suffering from a virus of some kind.🥴

Damn you, 2026!! When are you going to let up?? R.I.P. Reggie Bannister. 😢

10 non-horror movies to get to know me: First Blood Vision Quest Dazed & Confused Xanadu Stand By Me Better Off Dead Weird Science Back to the Future Footloose Labyrinth I just realized nine of these are 80's movies.
