What we build - the technology New tools arrive weekly. Architectural patterns shift. Practices are being rewritten. We want to hear from the people doing the work: What’s holding up in production? What isn’t? And what would you tell your team tomorrow? rebuildcon.uk

We're thrilled to welcome @elastic.co as an official sponsor of Re:Build, happening in London next May! They'll join the discussions at the heart of Re:Build: What we build (architecture and systems) and how we build it (processes and tools) in the AI era. rebuildcon.uk

Everyone’s talking about AI. At Re:Build, we’d rather talk about everything it’s changing. Short talks into roundtables, more hallway time, and The Conversation: 90 mins where the room does the talking. No recordings, so be there. 5 & 6 May 2027, London Join the list 👉 rebuildcon.uk

Join me at ACCU London on Wed 4 Nov We're trying Speed AMAs: private 10-min 1:1s with senior engineers. Plus a keynote from Meri Williams on how engineering skills are improving in 2026 & how seniors & juniors can support each other. Come say hi 👋 luma.com/tpxd3p4u

Re:Build is a new London developer conference about the people who build software, not the hype around it. What we build, how we build it, and who we become as AI reshapes our craft. Short talks, then real conversations. No recordings. 5 & 6 May 2027 Founding tickets: rebuildcon.uk

Sponsor the conversation, not the stage. Re:Build is a new, community-first developer conference in London, 5 & 6 May 2027. Every sponsor hosts a table in The Conversation, where attendees rotate through and share honest feedback. Sponsorship is open. Email kim@rebuildcon.uk for the pack.

Hello, world! We're Re:Build: a brand new developer conference in London, 5 & 6 May 2027. Built around the people who build software: craft, connection, change and humanity. Shorter talks, The Conversation, roundtables, hallway chats & a badger named Patch. Founding tickets are open: rebuildcon.uk

Tickets for Re:Build are open. Two days in London, 5 & 6 May 2027, for people who build software and aren’t sure what that means anymore. Nothing recorded. You’ll have to be there. rebuildcon.uk

We talk a lot about what AI can build. Less about what it means for the people building it. At Re:Build, bring your questions & leave with practical insights, clarity on what comes next & connections that last. Let's work it out together. 5 & 6 May 2027 rebuildcon.uk

AI isn't the whole story. Re:Build explores three threads: → What we build (the tech) → How we build it (the way we work) → Who we become (the human bit) 5 & 6 May 2027, London. rebuildcon.uk

Something like: Is the junior developer role disappearing, and does that matter? We're really curious where these go. What question would you want to put to the room? 5 & 6 May 2027, London Founding tickets on sale from 14 October. rebuildcon.uk

have an obvious answer. Then the room turns to its tables, each hosted by an expert. Throughout the session, people will swap to neighbouring tables to hear new perspectives. No pretending someone has already figured it all out. 2/3

Some things don't need another conference talk. They need a conversation. At Re:Build we're trying something called The Conversation. It's our take on the World Café, built for a room of 300. Each one starts with a short talk to frame a question that doesn't... 1/3

- How do we keep learning when the ground keeps moving? - What do we want tech to do for us & what do we want to keep doing? We don't have the answers. We think we'll work them out better together, which is why we're building Re:Build, a 2day conference in London on 5 & 6 May.

We've been thinking a lot about questions lately. Not the ones with a neat answer. The ones where you find yourself saying "Hmm I'm not sure…" - What happens to our roles when AI can do more of the work? - What does being a great engineer look like when the tools keep changing?

We're Re:Build, a new 2day conference for the people behind the code, not just the code. The future hasn't compiled yet. Come help build it. What to expect: - Shorter talks - The Conversation, our new participatory format - More space to talk about craft rebuildcon.uk

Hi, I'm Kim. I build dev conferences for a living & I've decided to build a new one. I've spent the past 13 years organising dev events & conferences, most recently Devoxx UK. Between co-running the @virtualjug.bsky.social & volunteering at several other community events. Our next project 🧵

We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes & I’m excited to finally share some fantastic news! We’ve secured a venue, set the date & after much debate, we have a name. 🤩 If you're curious enough to click the link in the comments, you won't have to wait long.
