had some interesting results trying Bear on OPL, interestingly dupe is still a thing in it, really want to get into the maths of why it happens on console!

I have a much nicer version of OPL working on my PS2 now but the loads are slightly worse. I'd like to try and get my SMB OPL fixed then consider returning to runs. Not sure what yet beyond Riders and maybe Bear; I'd like to expand my palette

having dwelled on it for a while I think not being in first cuts for ESA while other people got multiple in has been the kick needed to formally quit speedrunning haven't done it in a while anyway but think I'd be best off using my skills to work on the fundraising/sponsorship side

it all started when I failed to secure a job with Pride of Place, made the last two and part of the plan would have been to hold a massive games bash at a large venue in Blackpool. Going past it tonight brought it all back especially seeing how Blackpool has (and hasn't) developed since then

2/2 wrong warps in the main category. Bad RNG in Tag with Tutter and Ojo's Memory Game cost easily about 40 seconds alone - WR is on the cards! The stream comeback will be soon

bought a HAUL today in Leeds and Doncaster. So much PS2 trash, promo discs and more. Two of the traders had a tonne of promo discs and I suspect there will be some gems in there that I'm not aware of.

So I think they were Retro Fix and Games & Stuff but the quality was so high this market I'd love to look into every stall. I left early and didn't get back in time but would love to see Console Passion again.

this glitch is still as ridiculous as ever. the way the rooms work in bitbbh means that when you move your d pad to move across the room by an entrance there's a split second where you can jump into the target room early. each interaction has its own effect.

Going down-left in the attic gives you this effect, where it doesn't load the middle room correctly and Ojo goes to the failsafe at 0,0. Going left-down here can wrap the game around and load the bottom floor, which would actually be faster if it was consistent!

a bit of playing with it. if you play normally you get much lower times in the top left, sometimes it acts up though. the second example is what I hope to see more of, so use the glitch on the second cycle to either get the point or quickly reset back to one crate appearing.

the way that memory game is meant to work is that you guess one crate, then two, then three, then up to 6 depending on the mode. In Adventure it's only up to 4 but you can glitch past that. By using this glitch, you can make the game think you're right and wrong giving you the point and reset to 1

it's a weird one in Memory Game, where the X and Triangle crates respond differently to multiple inputs which can effectively skip an entire cycle. No idea how it actually works as Memory Game even with perfect turbo is inconsistent, but it seems getting a 1/2 chance is what gives you an in

SOLVED IT: you can confuse the game into thinking you're in both a win and fail state at the same time, which gives you points you're not supposed to earn, and can save up to 15 seconds in Memory Game

in true sonic riders fashion the babylon garden lockup has returned in chao park Now I've finally beat all the base cups in Cross Worlds I'm not sure what to think of the game but I'm definitely not infatuated with the controls
