Yesterday I brought food to a customer reading the paper so naturally I asked, "Any good news today?" And then I cackled hysterically. He pretended to stab himself in the heart and I apologized for the bad joke.

Old woman I ride the bus with: "Jimmy Kimmel is dangerous! Hate speech!" Me: "...I think youre reading the wrong things." "I dont read anything!" Aaaah.

Trump supporter lady at work just asked me what I thought about the “Big Beautiful Bill.” My response: Imagine someone bakes you a giant cake. The biggest cake you’ve ever seen. The entire inside of the cake is filled with actual human feces. But they put a couple sprinkles on top. That’s the bill.

Make no mistake: Alligator Alcatraz IS a concentration camp, and they absolutely ARE planning genocide and ‘ethnic cleansing.’ As a white person, i don’t know what I can do to help, but if all I have is my voice, I will make sure it’s heard.

I woke up this morning and thought: What three things can I allow myself to stress about today? Then I read the news. Then I went to work. I narrowed it down to nine.

An addled president is shredding the Constitution to usher in white nationalism and fascism while destroying the economy and our health care, so if you’re going to write an alarmist op-ed because a mayoral candidate might open five (5) city-run grocery stores, you can kindly get bent.

They are are eating the checks; they are eating the balances. The economy is a wreck, but they are pretending we are in a palace. At the stroke of midnight the tarriffs will invoke more madness & the only question will be who will keep their lips tight & who will fight For the people that is!
