Grandfather, engineer, liberal, woke. Ban billionaires, not books. Import more immigrants. ICE is a domestic terror organization. Deport all the damn Nazis. But only after prosecuting the grifters, murderers, and war criminals.

Thinking about how when I was a kid (70s, 80s) I knew people who were in wheelchairs due to polio. The next two generations haven't. The reason of course is that the vaccines worked.

Today I visited tunnels outside of Ho Chi Minh City which were used in the Vietnam War. There were people living in these tunnels when I was born. I can't help but conclude that in that time we haven't learned a single fucking thing about the utterly useless abomination that is war.

Who wants to create an AI-generated series that depicts the Epstein class, all dropped on his island, but with no power and nothing more that the clothes on their backs, and having to fend for themselves, not knowing if food or water will be dropped (spoiler, it won't).

Can we impeach this orange bag of shit already? Republicans! All you have to do is agree to get rid of him and he is gone. Each of you knows he will stab you in the back, but you hang on the hope that he'll target someone else first. I've never seen a bigger bunch of cowards.

United Health Care is threatening to drop SSM Health from "in-network" status. Fuck UHC. They serve no purpose except to extract wealth from the process. We should eliminate these companies entirely.

"China said it would implement a 15% tariff on coal and liquefied natural gas products as well as a 10% tariff on crude oil, agricultural machinery and large-engine cars imported from the U.S. The tariffs would take effect next Monday." On the bright side, that's kinda good for the environment.

Hey Google! I'm hoping someone starts a class-action lawsuit on the Pixel 4a battery bullshit. Not that I'd get monetary satisfaction but am hoping to see the results of discovery to see which bone-headed overpaid folks thought that whatever this is was a good idea.

Did you ask some AI how to make the most frustrating customer experience? Why lie about why you are doing this? The truth will get out sooner or later. If you actually know the batteries are dangerous you have a responsibility to share that info. If not, this is the dumbest way to drive sales ever.

Latest Pixel 4a nonsense - if you let the phone get down to 0%, it might decide to not charge and sit for hours on the charger only responding with "0%" on the screen. Plugging and unplugging on a charger with ammeter shows it starting at 1A but then dropping to very low current.

After a number of those attempts it changed behavior and continued to charge and seems to be coming up. Without access to the meter I wouldn't have been able to tell if it had actually kept charging.

I have one of these, and yes it's out of support and I should probably update but it was working fine until Google forced this update. It now charges from 15% to 100% on less than 1000 mAh delivered from the charger, which is nonsense as the battery is specified as over 3000 mAh.
