Bridgerton was glorious. Can’t wait for part 2.

This season of #Bridgerton could not have come at a better time.

So thrilled to meet @alixeharrow.bsky.social tonight at @quailridgebooks.bsky.social. She gave some wonderful tips on craft. Her new book The Everlasting is out now!

Might be too off the cuff but… [movie trailer voice] In a romantasy world where eldest daughters are sacrificial lambs and heroines learn that love=sacrifice, Marcy, a failed chosen one, must venture into Otherworld to save herself. #DVPit #na #f #r #w Legendborn x Winx Club:A Fate Saga

Day 5 of #dvparty. Playlist for my #na romantic fantasy novel The Fairy King. Lots of fantasy, ethereal, indie, folk vibes with a touch of Latin music. #w #f #r open.spotify.com/playlist/2A5...

Gif summarizing The Fairy King. The found family and fairy guardians elements of Winx Club: A Fate Saga mixed with the secret society, urban fantasy, parental grief, and lyrical language of Legendborn. All with chronically ill mermaids, fox shapeshifters, & an Irish folklore twist. #dvparty #f #r #w

First lines from my current WIP for #dvparty

Opening line to The Fairy King (Legendborn X Winx Club): “A hornet's nest of air conditioning units rattled in the windows of the six-story brown-brick apartment building, across the street from the Washington Heights subway station. But the phone in Marcy’s pocket buzzed louder.” #dvparty #f #r #w

🧜🏿‍♀️ Meet Obsidian: the last mermaid. Orphaned by war, adopted by a fae court ruler. Uptight, fierce, and bad at looking away from injustice. Rage drives her blade while loneliness softens her heart. Determined to prove herself and save the only home she’s ever known. #DVparty #A #F #R #LGBT

Stayed up late last night putting this sketch together 😂. Meet Marcy: A failed chosen one who grew up learning that love=sacrifice. 👩🏻 Enneagram 2w3 (but actually a 4) ❤️Initial Want: Affection ✨Actual Need: Freedom 😰Fear: Being selfish 🗡️Character wound: No one will protect me #dvparty #f #r #w

Question for my fellow #writingcommunity. Would you read a novel with a dystopian fairyland/otherworld? Think the modern #urbanfantasy world of winx club with lots of fairies and Irish folklore X the last of us #amwriting? #writesky

Thank you!!!
