Tonight I thought I'd double check some of the papers I had got out of my house to see if they stilled smelled like metal and burnt my throat, lungs, and everything. Snd yeah instantly regretted that. Had major #MCAS flare after that! Did my nebulizer and took shower and I'm still feeling shitty.

For context : had new heating and air system installed in my house I had lived in for 10 years and somehow they did something wrong and this bad metallic, almost pine smelling chemical (maybe from soddering) got released and contaminated everything I own. I still don't know what's next exactly.

Trying to find new place to live but so far no luck! I don't know what is gonna happen or how I'm gonna get through this situation... Still need to go over to my house and figure out what I can I salvage and how to clean the things I can.

People feel justified in treating disabled people (especially young men who look healthy from the outside) like garbage. There is no winning. If you advocate and stand up for yourself you'll be labeled difficult or some other crap. If you try to not ruffle feathers, you'll be walked all over.

I say all of this to offer a window into some of the daily struggles of my life, and millions of others living with disabilities. 1 out of 4 people has a disability. Judging other people says nothing about them, but it says everything about the person doing the judging. We deserve respect.

If there was a simple video I could watch and the follow steps for a month or even a year to get me all fixed up and 100% free of all of my disabilities, I'd do it. It hurts me so bad to sit down and do simple things like sit on a toilet seat. Hurts at a level that would make avg person cry.

So yeah I don't know know I'm gonna find a place to live. I can't find a single family home one bedroom house anywhere in my area. With my severe Allergies, there's no way I can live in an apartment building with shared vents, people cooking things I'm allergic too around me.

Tried to go see a new dentist today. When I scheduled the appointment they said I was all good to go. When I got there they said they couldn't do the exam because my insurance only covers the type of exam they want to do every 3 years. The lady at the front desk was on some power trip. 0/10

So then had to do three way call with my insurance with the rude lady again who kept talking in a condascending tone "As I said earlier your insurance won't cover that exam we need to do for two more years." Well, I need a dentist so what else can we do. I had to her job for her. Hours of my time😒

Please don’t judge disabled people for staying in abusive relationships. You can’t imagine the terror of being financially and/or physically dependent on someone for survival. There’s no one to step in and rescue us. This is why disabled people have higher rates of abuse. We can’t escape.
