Literally every liberal on here who wanks on about the lesser of two evils needs to repeat this like a mantra until they get it.

It is, ultimately, damaging your ability to accomplish things long term or to win elections long term because you assume that you can't change the framing of the conversation even though changing the framing is a tool that's right there for you to grasp. It's incompetence. Malpractice.

so so so many suffered and died to get us where we are in terms of rights and humanity for minorities of any kind. to let anyone chip away at those for the sake of convenience is an absolute no-go. it won't stop at one thing. it won't.

most people have dormant viruses hanging out in them. mask up please, for your safety. :')

We are learning so much more about the importance of prevention and yet see society as a whole (including scientists) doing so much less to protect themselves…Makes no sense. β€œCOVID-19 can wake up dormant viruses in the body, large study confirms” www.science.org/content/arti...

after playing through tears of the kingdom again (still going though in an attempt to 100% lol) I still think in terms of fun gameplay this one still wins, but I'm kinda leaning towards BotW having a better story (but TotK has a much much better final boss).

anyways I know it's extremely hard to strike a good balance when it comes to open world games of having enough interesting things to do and a good story, but I think more and more games striving to be a 100+ hour playthrough is detrimental. especially for games with a plot.

I don't think I would change this game, I don't know how I would lol. but it was still very good and fun, and I went in knowing it would be damn near impossible to top the divine beasts. I am glad they're changing pace though, moving away from this format for a while at least.

also I can't help feeling like TotK has a much less alive world? like there's more to it obviously, a lot more, but there were sacrifices to make that happen. I love the depths a lot but yeesh there is nothing going on down there, even in terms of nature.

narcissism gets tossed around so casually as like a catch-all explanation and labels everyone who even kinda seems that way as inherently evil, which blows. goes hand in hand with the ableist automatic need to describe actual evil people as "mentally ill".

Imagine you pour your heart out to your therapist and you find out he wojaked you

at this rate nintendo will be the only AAA game company left bc so far they seem to be the only ones capable of not firing every dev in their ranks and for seeing slop for what it is

every other day there's a post by some Guy being like "seriously bluesky? do we not know [somewhat niche or complex subject that ofc not everyone has memorized]?" and I just want these Guys to give themselves a swirly before they speak again

"why do you use a wheelchair if you can walk?" why do you wear shoes when you have perfectly good feet? could it be so that you can safely walk more with less pain and risk? could it be so that I can walk when I need/want to with less pain and risk?

they would give me a sort of fastpass that let me in through the exit line after a designated wait time outside the ride, and I got to board before everyone else (which earned me some vicious glares but hey, at least you guys can walk right??)

that place was one of extremely few places I could actually enjoy to the fullest, and I think they've gutted their accessibility since then. :/ it sucked that I couldn't even have one place I could enjoy without abled people hating me for it! you guys get literally everything else!

here's an example: visiting disneyland in the past with no chair, I was in extreme pain all day and went on like three rides, and I sat on benches for hours. visiting with a chair, I went on like 10 rides (some more than once) and had no pain so my mood was much better and I had so much more fun.

When you have chronic pain and you have a really good pain day you spend most of the good pain day desperately trying to figure out what magical sequence of events in what mystical order allowed for the stars to align and grant this day of getting shIt done. I can break the curse for SURE this time

my internet has been going out for no reason every day for like two weeks now and I'm eternally angry that we could have better infrastructure for this but nooo, sorry you hillbilly, you're slightly too rural. you'll accept your dysfunctional connection speeds from 2010 and you'll like it.

I actually love how angry this place makes twitter users lol, especially when they come here to wreak havoc and it just falls flat after a day or so, if that long. then they make boohoo blogs on their substacks and try to get us to read them. so much work for them, must be exhausting.
