I have been working on making a soundboard for fursuiting. Sadly I am not feeling well, so no demonstration in suit, but here is basically how it works. I still have to settle on which sounds to include.

LLMs are fairly good at finding (security) bugs, but the bug report text - the thing I use to triage how bad it is - is often atrocious. I still don't know what "the bug is a round-trip infidelity" is supposed to mean.

I have been playing around with generating my own SVG files for Pacenote Pal. I made a simple application that records my coordinates and distance in the stage, and with that I can draw a map like this for the stage Severn - Afon Bidno (converted to PNG for Mastodon):

I released a new version of Raceroom Commander. I didn't plan on doing that, but apparently the API subtly changed (an empty player list went from `[]` to `null`) which broke my code. Of course that change was not documented.

Someone forked one of my MPL 2.0-licensed project, adapted it, and published it. They were courteous enough to include the MPL 2.0 license file in the download, but published none of the source code. I am erring on the side of incompetence rather than malice, but it is rather disheartening.

My work laptop has a very "fun" defect that has been plaguing me for the last couple of months. Apparently my laptop (Dell XPS 15 9520) becomes very sluggish and comes to a crawl whenever it is charging using a charger that's less than 130W.

A couple of days ago I received my outside temperature and humidity sensor that connects to my Home Assistant (via Zigbee). Now I don't just sleep badly, I can also back up with data why.

I made some signs. I'm not quite sure where to put them, but I am sure I can find a use for them.

Ik heb nieuwe theedoeken nodig, maar ik vind de theedoeken van de HEMA e.d. wat te gewoontjes. Ik ben gaan knutselen en heb nu een Rijkstheedoek gemaakt, geschikt voor elke Rijksafwas. In de toekomst wil ik allicht ook een Rijkshanddoek :-) Meer ludieke ideeën zijn welkom!

In further annoyances, my watch face for Wear OS was again rejected by Google Play. Why a very limited XML file needs a privacy policy, statement that it does not offer mortgages, an "app" icon, and more in the first place is beyond me - the WFF spec makes it impossible to do anything like that.

I spent the last couple of hours trying to figure out why every time I would redeploy my blog a stale version of my latest blog post would pop up until it reached the TTL, after which it would work fine. Turns out it's a Vercel bug. The temptation to rewrite everything in plain HTML is high.
