Ukulele Cover 31 of 53 - ChikuTaku by Amelia Watson and WUNDER RiKU Recent events have inspired me to cover this song, one that as a day one teamate really meant a lot to me when it released~

Ukulele cover 29 of 53 - Falling Slowly by Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová I was looking for a song for this week, and this came up again on my radar. I felt this song was everywhere in the cover-sphere back in the late 2000's, and playing again made me realize why :3

Ukulele cover 28 of 53 - Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder A certain pink-haired reaper watched all of Digital Circus, so I rewatched it and got this stuck in my head again. What an ending, huh~

Cover 26 of 53 (halfway through~!!) - end of a life by Mori Calliope Honestly the hardest one I've done so far because I am not a rapper, but since the HoloEN concert is around the corner I wanted to do one of my favorite hololive songs. Go easy on me, will ya~

Ukulele cover 25 of 53 (almost halfway there~!!) - Sports by Beach Bunny. Had the pleasure of watching them live twice, and they were the last band I saw before lockdown lol. Def one of my favorite bands :3

Ukulele cover 24 of 53 - Live and Die by The Avett Brothers Seth and Scott (the titular brothers) are my favorite singers and do such amazing harmonies, love singing this tune from them (even though playing on ukulele is a pain lol)

Ukulele cover 23 of 53 - All My Favorite Things by Weezer There are a few songs I keep in my pocket when I just wanna vent, singing in an empty room and belting out. It's a bit silly in hindsight, but it's good to be a little silly sometimes imo

Ukulele cover 22 of 53 - Closing off Nostalgia Month with a song that really captivated me as a kid that felt angst and bitterness but didn't know how to express it - Wind by Akeboshi aka the ED 1 to Naruto

Ukulele cover 21 of 53 - continuing nostalgia month by bringing back English dubs of old anime with Smile Bomb from Yu Yu Hakusho. Hope you enjoy :3

Ukulele cover 20 of 53 - Simple and Clean by Hikaru Utada I still remember the first time I put Kingdom Hearts into my PS2 and booting it up, being absolutely blown away by the intro. This and the guitar intro riff to Sanctuary never fails to take me back to those good 'ol days~

Ukulele cover 19 of 53 (ignore the other numbers I miscounted lmao) Continuing with nostalgia month, I listened to the 2.B.A. Master CD when I was a kid and I think even back then this was my favorite tune on it - Misty's Song. It's hella corny, but that's the fun of it :3

Ukulele cover 17 of 53 - Freckles by JUDY AND MARY, eng dub version~ I'm feeling a bit nostalgic, so these next few covers will be songs that I have a lot of warm feelings about. Like this one, watching Toonami after school looking up at the buzzy TV~

Mog morning and happy Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month~!! There was a period in my life where I became obsessed with graphic novels and AAPI authors. Reading memoirs and their stories inspires me to learn from my roots and carry it on in my own way

Reading all these graphic novels really broadened my understanding of cultures, and all the different ways external and internal forces beyond one's control affect so much It also reminds me of universal feelings that we share as humans, and I am not so alone

Ukulele cover 15 of 53 - In Love Like You by Chevy This song has been stuck in my head, being a hopeless romantic and all, and when I went to a wedding recently I lowkey felt this way in my bones I'm joking, ofc... joking... 🥲 (Full cover on my Youtube)

Mog morning~!! Our fortune cookies must have gotten mixed up because I think this one belongs to you ;)

This week's weekly ukulele cover is now up: Good Kid - Cicada featuring yours truly on the sax and cajon~ This song has been such an earworm for me the past few weeks, so it was a lot of fun making this~ (full link below)
