Tonight at 6 PM in Columbia, Brandon Brown and I will be on the debate stage, ready to answer questions and defend our vision for South Carolina. If you’re asking for the people’s vote, you should be willing to face the people’s questions.

I’ll be there tonight. Brandon Brown will be there tonight. Annie Andrews should be too. Annie Andrews was invited. She accepted. Then when it came time to stand before voters and answer tough questions, she backed out to hold her own meet-and-greet instead.

There are upcoming candidate meet and greet that I am unable to make. I'm sorry. When I say I'm a working man for South Carolina, I mean it. I'm not a millionaire. I work to support my family, and I will work to strengthen yours. #vote #southcarolina #democrats #ForYouPage

Happy Easter to everyone celebrating across South Carolina and our country. Today is a reminder of renewal, hope, and the power of faith to guide us through even the toughest times. Wishing you a blessed and joyful Easter. — Kyle Freeman #HappyEaster #EasterSunday

The hypocrisy is difficult to stomach. When Charlie Kirk died the right was up in arms about demanding respect for the dead. Now Robert Mueller, a Bronze Star recipient, passes and the right is gleeful all because daddy Trump has a grudge.

Robert Mueller, a Vietnam veteran with a bronze star for heroism, and a purple heart has passed away. Perhaps his biggest honor was trying to save our democracy. I REFUSE to let him be a punchline for our deranged president. Robert Mueller was a hero and may he rest in peace and watch over us. Amen.

Big thanks to Orangeburg County for letting me speak at their convention. We got to hear from Jim Clyburn's grandson (pictured) speak on solidarity and a brighter future for the Democratic party. #scpol #orangeburgsc #Democrats

The President’s response to the news surrounding Rob Reiner was beneath the dignity of the office. It feels like he’s hit rock bottom, and somehow keeps digging. At moments like this, our leaders should show basic decency and respect for a life spent contributing to our culture,

Today’s targeted attacks in DC are a stark reminder that our democracy demands courage, not chaos. Violence has no place in our politics. Not now, not ever. I’m holding the National Guard troops who were targeted, and all our service members, in my heart today.

ms.now2 West Virginia National Guard members shot near the White HouseAuthorities said the two National Guard members and a suspect were critically wounded. Police described it as an ambush.

The good news: it looks like the government will open again soon. Federal workers will finally get their paychecks, and SNAP benefits are fully funded through September, meaning families won’t go hungry even if we face another shutdown in February. That’s real relief for real people.

npr.orgSenators take first step toward reopening the government after historic shutdownThe Senate voted late Sunday evening on a compromise that could reopen the government following the longest shutdown in history.

But I’m disappointed that Democratic leadership chose to punt on the ACA subsidy issue. Affordable healthcare shouldn’t be a bargaining chip, it’s a lifeline for millions. Once again, Washington kicks the can down the road instead of solving the problem.

Congratulations to all the Democrats that won their elections, buthis is just the beginning. Now it's time to get to work and make some real changes for Americans. The worst thing we could do is to sit on our hands and let people suffer and cause millions to lose hope and faith in America.

Congratulations to Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani on a historic win in New York City. His vision, courage, and dedication to working people will serve the city well. Wishing him the very best as he takes on this new chapter of leadership. #NYC #Leadership #PublicService #ForwardTogether #Progress
