This loft clearance has finally thrown some upsides my way. Gutted not to have the NES and PlayStation but everything else has been kept. Which my wife is really really pleased about 😬

I don't subscribe to any AI models except what is lumped in with my Google drive storage. I just got an email saying my subscription now only entitles me to use the basic models. I don't use them anyway, but that's the first crank of the monetisation wheel I've seen.

Do people and companies REALLY know what this tech is going to cost them in the long run!? Once they're addicted to a robot that makes constant errors. Data centres aren't paying for themselves.

I can't comprehend this. If I try it I'm tackling myself and hitting the advertising hoarding ... best case I kinda vault it and get stretched off with a Jordan Henderson injury, worst case full decapitation.

I haven't quite got over this weekend because it's brought a lot of football pain back (yes, there are worse forms of pain available). I've written some thoughts on it. Spoiler: having a decade of dominance stolen off you, hurts.

But I knew then, we all did, that the team we were going head to head with was cheating. This cost us - I think - more than just the titles where we finished 2nd. It was so so so draining on our smaller squad - and intensity we had to play at to try and beat the cheats - that we suffered

With some glorious memories outside of the league that meant the world. But you wait in hope in football don't you. One day could we win the league again? And along came JΓΌrgen. I've never seen football like it. What a team. What a manager.

The reward? One league title (for JΓΌrgen's era). I'll take it, don't get me wrong. That title is worth more to me than anything City brought off the shelf at the sheikh's command.

I became a Liverpool fan in 1989 - weirdly because I felt sorry for them on the final day that cost the title to Arsenal. That and I was a goalkeeper and Grobbelaar was my hero. That and Liverpool fans, the Kop, everything reeled me in.

This obviously means I saw our last league win the season after but don't remember much about it. So my supporter formative years were full of nearly moments of the 90s onwards. Horrible painful seasons. Hopeful seasons too. Barren turgid seasons. Ownership debacles. On this went for 3 decades.

I went to Anfield yesterday with a naive belief that in sport integrity and honesty and abiding by rules and process still matters. Seeing city fans celebrating their dishonesty was like watching the football equivalent of MAGA,Trump and Farage. City fans sometimes you have to pick the right side.

Reflecting on yesterday… the City stuff is still raw and Liverpool suffered from their cheating more than most. But given the reaction, I suspect that if they get away without being severely punished then that will be it for a lot of fans. Finished. Why invest time and money in a rigged game?

I mean ... if this is football now we need a breakaway league. The cheating doesn't stop at the finances, the ref calls have landed this bunch of cheating c*nts title after title. With vast sums of money ALWAYS follows, corruption.

It might be wise for City players to (try to) protect their reputations rather than double down in lockstep with their cheating overlords.

Haven't said anything yet about the City verdict - I'm seeing a lot of downward negotiating and the talking heads in the media saying the Premier League and its clubs have 'no appetite' for expulsion or title stripping... so lets talk about this. 🧡 Why Cheat? In the simplest terms, to win. In a

Ooof! I do love a bit of clever unraveling of (potential) criminality.

Manchester City cheated Premier League rules, the Commission found. Did it also cheat HMRC? We've examined the decision and leaked Mancini documents. We think City likely failed to pay Β£12m in tax. There should be a criminal investigation. Thread:

Blue moon ... Boo hoo It was all just a sham They'll take your titles away And make you play Altrincham It's hard to come up with anything for this that isn't lame. Any better ones!?!

I really hope the Anfield faithful have got some welcoming songs for the visit of City. The classic 'you've never won fuck all' surely needs dusting off for starters. But we can do better, right?

Kinda feel sorry for all those little kids in my town who chose to support Man City. Although my local team plays in the Isthmian League Premier Division - so maybe they'll be able to watch City play down the road soon.
