Just helped my Year 7 with maths homework. My adhd brain can compute the numbers, it’s those damn worded ones - because i want to know why someone is traversing from a 10 metre platform into a 5 metre pool. Will it hurt on impact? Turns out it was just 10 x 5🫠 but still will it hurt on impact 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had a think about why countries like US are failing and China is thriving. This isn’t to defend China. But with everyone suddenly going nuts about #DeepSeek and how they can build their own and beat China. I thought you will never beat China, I look at the country from its 5000 years

Until you understand China and it’s 5000 year history and examine your own historical imperialism you will never be able to defeat it. Until Western powers allow people before profit it will always have issues. This is why the US is a mess.

BTW on #DeepSeek it will tell you the 10 distinct Muslim groups in China and if you ask it to search the Web for information on UYGHURS (spell it correctly), it will bring up web pages including articles from BBC.

It’s not innovation for corporate profit or profit ahead of people. It still punishes corporate leaders who are found guilty of hurting people with death (moral and ethics on this is a little hazy). China understands Western hypocrisy, for example Britain and US recognised China’s administration

And not just the last 70 years China always will be an empire however its governing bodies wants to call itself. Here’s the thing the Government owns its infrastructure from broadband to public transport. It is not beholden to any company, or lobby groups. So when technology is created

I have deleted TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, no longer interested in any social media that can be used as a tool of oppression. Life was better without it. Keeping BlueSky until I find out it’s another tool owned and weaponised by oligarchs

I wonder if having all the tech billionaires in one place, including TikTok CEO, is a way to get them together and have them all arrested so Trump or Project 2025, can take their assets. Maybe that’s why it was moved in doors. Kinda like the Red Wedding on Game of Thrones. #Trump #inauguration2025

Roll back in DEI will see more litigations against employers- if they’re not actively creating a safe workplace and creating a harmful one - best be prepared to understand your rights as a worker and their responsibilities in the workplace. You have rights, start demanding them!

3/4 People who are still on #Facebook can take out class action suits against Meta if you can show how getting rid of moderators created a systemic issue with repeated failures to enforce its own guidelines. Although people in EU can sue under its regulations under Digital Services Act #Meta

4/4 BTW Fox8 is not governed under the same laws. The First Amendment protects free speech it doesn’t protect them from creating voter disenfranchisement, fraudulent or deceptive practices. The Trumpets had no case, but voters who regret their decision do. #Elonmusk #meta

2/3 It would be tricky but if you phrased it to show his personal posts showed negligence or reckless disregard as his posts were made without proper verification. If you can prove fraud in his posts and show he deceived voters or geneated fiscal gain - there might be a case #elonmusk

The greatest tragedy of our lifetime has been the push for STEM courses to be taught, without being accompanied by Humanities subjects. This had ed to generation tech autocrats with no ethics, media literacy/laws, philosophy and humanity. Tech before people, profits before people destroys humans.
