These are all items that will go out as quick as I can send them in December. You may still not get them before Christmas (and certainly not before Hanukkah since the sale ends I think on the first night of Hanukkah), but they'll go out VERY fast since they're items that I already have in stock. 😂

Don't mind me while I keep posting Beyond the Lighthouse updates here. 😉 Tasks are getting done, and I just have to share them!! We're also getting more of the modules in and edited now, and I'm so excited by the VARIETY of stories we have to tell in this world, y'all. No two modules will be alike.
I've gone through all the backer-submitted monsters and artefacts, and I'm currently adding them to our Appendix! Some are almost perfect as written, while I'm expanding upon others to fully flesh them out (no pun intended, in one case) to fit with the vibes of the book. 😊
Meanwhile, all of the backer-submitted NPCs have already been integrated into our three new countries, including a Postmaster General raccoon named Diego, who works in Durrentow (also known as The World's End) in Ravanseil.
Today is another full day of working on Beyond the Lighthouse 💪 My current project: sorting through all of the potential artwork for Ravanseil to select the best pieces for @enniogoes.bsky.social to put into the book!
While we have original art pieces commissioned for the project, the great thing about it being set in 1907 is that we have a massive pool of historical public domain paintings & drawings that we can include in the book to make it feel fully fleshed out in a way that we couldn’t have otherwise done.
So @dorianblackwood.bsky.social sent me a fantastic concept for a module for Beyond the Lighthouse that I'm now writing.
Me doing research for the module: "how do blimps work"
😂
I'm spending today elbow-deep in edits of Beyond the Lighthouse modules. 💕 I'm so excited for people to play these!! I'm currently finalizing @glitzydemon.itch.io 's two modules for the Kingdom of Sienne by @dorianblackwood.bsky.social and Niojike by @thirdvaultyarns.com 🥰
In "(Don't) Awaken the Beast," you are members of a famous rock band trying to stop the apocalypse. An Eldritch Horror will awaken at the end of September, and it is on your band of Rebels to stop it.
Inspired by "Wake Me Up When September Ends" by Green Day! PDFs available on itch & RPG Trader.

The downside of a highly productive few days is that now that my Green Day-inspired TTRPG is done, my brain is buzzing with “ok what do now?” and is answering by saying, “meh do nothing and stare at your laptop for two hours without realizing it.”
🫠🫠🫠
My new game is brought to you by ADHD and the power of four days of mostly-uninterrupted time to write and design the layout. 😅
Genuinely, the only reason why I'm able to hyperfocus on writing games like this in terms of time? Writing TTRPGs and being a pro GM are my fulltime job right now!
My latest game, (Don't) Awaken the Beast, is out now on itch.io and RPG Trader!
A micro-TTRPG of rock star rebels trying to stop the apocalypse before the end of September.

Starting off my Solo September with a game of Tea & Toadstools, by @lalionnepublishing.itch.io! Although a snuggly cat does add an unexpected element of challenge to this. xD What are you playing for Solo September?

My game "the cassandra protocol" is in the Solo September games bundle! Definitely check out the bundle, there are SO many fantastic games in the bundle! :)
There are some seriously creative things happening in the world of solo TTRPGs right now.
Games that turn journaling into adventure.
Games that make a deck of cards your GM.
Games that turn dice rolls into stories you didn't expect.
We love this corner of the hobby!

Someone wished a discord server “happy September” & now I’m sitting here writing a micro RPG about a monster hunting rock band saving the world from an apocalypse before an eldritch horror awakens at the end of September. Not a one pager for once. (Shocking, I know, given my recent track record.)

A fact of life as a creative trying to make a living on one's writing/craft/art is that you need to put out a significant amount of money to then make money yourself. Sometimes I think people who don't experience this side of things don't realize just how significant that financial strain can be.
I'd love to hear other people's thoughts and experiences. How has your table changed over the years/cons? What do you do to make things accessible? I know this was a lot of different topics all rolled into one thread, but they all tie into each other to varying degrees.

But also, I now have to get creative with HOW I display them. How can I make these easy for potential customers to pick up and look at? What makes my table as accessible as possible to everyone? I now have a lightweight folder filled with my one-pagers that people can sift through, pick up, etc.
I have too many one-pagers to display now, which is a good problem to have! xD But also, not everyone is able to look at something hanging 4-5 ft off the ground, which is how I dealt with not having enough space on the table to display them. So, folder! I'll be organizing the games by genre next. 😊

One of those seemingly invisible elements is that when you're vending at events like conventions, you not only have to order or make enough products to sell at your table, but you also have to buy all the necessary things to make your table appealing to potential buyers. Tablecloths, displays,
signage, and so much more. All of these things add up. I've been vending at cons now for two years, and it's so interesting to see how my booth has built up over that time. I've gotten to the point now where I have more games than space to display them! Which is such a positive thing.
