Charcoal on a new paper I bought. I still don't feel quite happy with the texture of it and am trying to find a way around it... Aside from that, I'm starting to feel more comfortable with charcoal. It feels way more forgiving and expressive than graphite to me

I realised I've been posting very little art this year, so let's try to fix that! Will post one illustration from the first two chapters of my book everyday -Pastry stop before work meeting-

Charcoal on grey paper *Censored I drew this one a while ago to get a bit more used to the medium. I had to take a photo with my phone, so it looks a little bit messier than in reality. Let's talk about how magical charcoal is?! I start to love this medium.

This is an illustration I painted back in 2025. I still remember how excited I was since it was the first MTG Universes Beyond set I illustrated for. The composition on this one was challenging in the best way, there is no better playground than a crew on an alien planet! 💫
