I want that kind of youth where, on my way home, I’m waiting for the bus when I happen to make eye contact with Kotone on another bus just as it pulls away. She smiles and waves at me, and I can almost read her lips saying, “See you tomorrow.” THAT kind of youth.

I've been busy moving and adjusting to a new environment lately. I moved away from the city where I had lived my whole life to a much more rural area, and I'm still having a hard time adjusting, so I'm basically in survival mode right now.

In the end, the man pulled the trigger. The weather was beautiful that day. Sunlight spilled across the ground. A gentle breeze passed by, and the leaves rustled in soft, layered whispers. White clouds drifted slowly across the sky, as though the day still had a long way to go.
