Could it be that every reason to reach for a SPA got fixed elsewhere since 2012? * SSR for weight * Routers for URLs * Paint holding for the white flash SPAs look a lot like the thing they tried to replaced Hear from @lavalva.dev if the distinction still makes sense. @viteconf.org - today 2pm UTC

"Product creep" is my new favorite term in standards development

𝕮@chrisshank.com

My gut feeling is that product creep taints how widely useful a lexicon are and I think that there needs to be a governance model around lexicons that separates them into different pace layers.

Are there any atproto apps that use records from competitors? This ecosystem won't feel open to me until @bsky.app uses something from outside the `app.bsky` namespace as part of its core experience

Replying to @samwho.dev

At the end of the day I still think the best strategy if your goal is to reach a wide audience is to just make the best stuff you can. I’ve seen no compelling evidence to suggest that futzing with algorithms, timing, keywords, etc. outperforms that in the long run.

trust on the web would be a completely different game if we could be websites everywhere

patak@patak.cat

If using domains as handles would spread to other services, the story would be even better, because people will know you by that same domain everywhere, all linking to the same website. So trust you build in any of the services spreads to the others.

Engineers: constraints -> canvas Designers: canvas -> constraints Each methodology is ideal for its job I didn't *get* Figma until I understood this idea

You are up to date.
