i am so fucking tired of this endless cycle of kink positive communities being welcomed with open arms onto a new platform that's only useing them for growth and success and then shunting them out the door the moment its more profitable and convenient to ts is so exhausting

why do TWO companies and the fucking BRITISH get to decide what people GLOBALLY CAN and CANNOT do and consume online this "protect the kids, we need child safety" shit is such a load of crap, too, that is so not why they care so much

and the people who do genuinely hold that idea are just as moronic, too it should not be on GOVERNMENTS to do what is clearly a PARENT'S job it is up to the PARENTS to ensure their kids are surfing the web safely, it's their job to moderate and supervise that sort of thing

it's both a gross intantilization of women and further disenfranchisement of an already marginalized community of various sub-communities

The Substar TOS looks extremely similar to Patreon's now. Call your reps or we will lose everything Tell them to stop the payment processor power grab, tell them to vote no on child online safety bills/ID verification. We need everyone

Its been brought to my attention that SubscribeStar has updated its content policies and is now much, much more strict wrt the kinds of content it will host subscribestar.adult/prohibited_c...

It's yet another exhausting case of a platform building its success off the back of nsfw communities such as these – success and growth which came only because these communities were already pushed off of similar platforms, only to then turn around and do the very same thing once they've grown big++

The way this is worded, the following can be prohibited offenses; Monster forms like werewolves or the Xenomorph. Calling your partner "Daddy". Sex that looks too violent., like slapping, biting, scratching. Vore. Inflation. Big eyes. Small tits. They get to pick the intensity. Nothing's a win.

It's very similar, if not the same reasons we saw what happened, what, last year or so with itch io. The causes and circumstances may be different, but it all comes down to the same reason at the end of the day.

++ enough to no longer need them. It may start with this sort of stuff that most people wouldn't really be into, but it's exactly that; how it *starts.* Having seen this happen again and again, that net will just keep growing wider. Patreon did it, OnlyFans tried to do it, and now SubscribeStar.

They'll gladly take the money of people in these scenes at first, then push them out through the addition of rules and restrictions which obviously target them when it becomes more profitable to exclude them. This, in part, because the two largest payment processors control ~90% of the market,++

I've been going back and forth all day on this track I've been working on – between "damn I'm kinda cooking" and "this shit is doodoo ass garbage" why is my brain like this, this shit is driving me up the WALL, WHICH IS IT

Being a musician with adhd/autism is "lemme see what instruments I have on hand to make something that sounds slow and smooth," finding the distorted guitar from Super Mario World, and suddenly having made the "Evil King Bowser" version of the battle theme from the original Megami Tensei game

That said, I should have some new songs coming out in the next couple of days. I really wish I could create more consistently, but I've been very off and on with having the mojo for it for a while now.

Decided to start learning Godot and GDScript last night, I'm pleasantly surprised that I actually enjoy learning it and look forward to picking the courses back up after coming home from work

You are up to date.
