The Chimney Swift family(ies?) that live here @ my house must have new babies! I hear them chattering when adults return- to feed them? Showed up a few years ago- migrate annually from S America- do everything 'on the wing'- called 'Cigars w/ wings'- they cling to sides of chimney- Eat LOTS of bugs!

I think the babies have fledged- don't hear the feeding chatters + there are more flying around + circling near the house at dusk- wish I could see into the chimney to see how many there actually are!

So what is up with the reflecting pool in DC? It's closed for renovations during Memorial Day weekend, I read an article abt cost going from 1+mil to 13+mil, is it true DT's golf course manager is in charge of renov? Delays, big tarps covering? Possible lawsuits over paint job? May needs a looksee?

I gotta take a break from scrolling- it's sorta pissing me off- luckily on TCM- "Judgement at Nuremberg" is coming on- from 1961 w/ Spencer Tracy, B Lancaster, R Widmark, and many other great actors... hoping there will be a reboot w/ an updated cast...

www.cbsnews.com/news/house-b... Anybody read abt this? Pardoned J6 rioters trying to get compensated for what they "suffered as victims"- NC Rep+ Ca Rep trying to prevent it- while the blanket pardons didn't make them pay for the damage they caused!

cbsnews.comNew legislation in House would ban taxpayer money from going to Jan. 6 riotersThe bill would ban distribution of taxpayer money for any "January 6th compensation fund" and any further refund of damage payments made by convicted Capitol rioters.

I could be wrong and please correct me If I am-, except for that one Rep from Fla saying he'll not be running for re-election- Gov Ron, senators R Scott+ A Moody and various Reps around the state have been pretty quiet about alot of goings on... 🤔 wondering WHY... TY

January 27,2026 is Holocaust Rememberance Day- Never Forget... Though there are currently many parallels with situations, attitudes and behaviors that were allowed in the world back then-there doesn't have to be anymore...

You are up to date.
