I have three days free of the Panthers. A starting offensive lineman broke his leg. And that first half today nearly caused me to spontaneously combust. Why is this happening to me I try to be a nice person

Since the moment he said that: -holding penalty takes back a big play -sack-fumble, 17-point Buccaneer lead Maybe he should just shut the hell up

"Carolina Panther fans, don't get nervous..." DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO

Baker Mayfield (15.5) is averaging about twice as many batted passes per 600 attempts in his career than Bryce Young (7.9). Mayfield isn't tall either, but batted passes are a lot less about a quarterback's height that you would expect. Source: @sports-reference.com

wow a baker pass getting batted down, never seen that happen before in bank of america stadium

I got caught up watching the first three episodes of Gilded Age and missed the start of this game but it looks like all I missed is a soul-eating Tampa Bay drive so did I REALLY miss it

Or the moment he dies the hex becomes permanent

I'm trying to workshop a Dick Crum hex, but I need help. Carolina football won't be better until it apologizes/ reconciles with the 33-year holder of "winningest UNC coach" and last winner of an ACC title, or he passes. He's 92.

Aw, man. I get it, of course. Time has come. Last remaining Triangle coach whose intro press conference I attended. RIP to Dave and the red solo cup

Oh hell yes I used to watch this show on reruns like crazy

Huh. "Police Squad!" is coming to Netflix on November 1. That's another of those shows that has either never or almost never been streaming anywhere.

Speaking of Roy...my son got a talking-to from his teacher for saying "frick" at school. I say "frickin" to substitute for...the other one. And I feel like I picked that up from Roy. The teacher went to NC State. So I should tell my son to tell his teacher it's Roy Williams' fault #bigbrainparenting

My son is just young and charming enough to get away with telling his teacher he'd go with, "Golly gee!" instead. My heart stopped for a second when he told me that, but he said she laughed. He's lucky she didn't tell him to stop being a smartass (in kinder words) 😂

Is it 2 if he attended a UNC-Duke game I covered? Or does it have to be more direct, like, he was buddy-buddy with Roy Williams, who at one point at least vaguely knew who I was? 😂

To flip some discourse script for a bit: what’s y’all’s Obama number (ie degrees of separation with the former president)? Mine is 3

Homicide is the leading cause of death among pregnant people. New research shows that since the end of Roe, women’s risk for being murdered in states with abortion bans has increased. This builds on a growing devastating catalog of data showing bans’ impact on domestic violence:

And honestly no offense to the IP movies (some of which are great) but their dominance ending has led to an increase in movies with wild and creative premises and we love to see it

There is joy to be found in the movies that make you wonder how and why they were made at all
