I was sitting in my rocker on the porch when I saw this bobcat running up a cypress tree after a squirrel. The squirrel barely escaped. The wildlife cam caught the bobcat as it was leaving.

Just walked out on my front porch and there was at least 15 maybe 20 wild hogs just across the fence. I didn't have time to grab my shotgun. They all got away this time.

Some idiot down the road thought it was a good idea to start burning and he caught the woods on fire. One firetruck was in my aunt's yard soaking her pasture while forestry was plowing fire lines. 2 more were parked by the mailboxes. Just what we needed. Got a whopping 12 drops of rain yesterday.

I used to have a rabbit that came out from under the porch and hop along beside me to the fence when I was putting corn out in the mornings. It would sit beside me until I poured the first pile then would get up and hop through the fence and start eating. My neighbor's cat killed it.

It's really weird watching a humming bird stick it's tongue out. But so glad they're back.

Saw my first baby deer of the year. It was so tiny and cute. It just melted my heart.

Now I can enjoy the babies who just started coming around. Meet Waylon and Willie.
