the world would be a much more pleasant place if we all focused on doing what we believed was the morally correct choice instead of what is most beneficial to us personally unfortunately believing that this is how people function doesn’t always turn out too well

call it naivety but i still do choose to believe people are doing what they believe to be right, if nothing else then just because i can’t comprehend doing something i didn’t think was right. ocd is too strong for that one

obsession as a film has a very strong hold on me because it’s one of those that just sticks to the back of your brain after you see it

like dismissing the third act, the horror was so carefully and perfectly crafted to where even knowing something is wrong you try to look past it as well and the lighting is the type of stuff that makes my brain tick

right and people have their damage and whatnot and i’m not shaming that. but especially amongst queer spaces there is a worrying amount of both self-infantilization and self-objectification which is not a positive way to see yourself!

people are so much more than their bodies and it’s okay to have those thoughts sometimes but you need to share them to SAFE people, not to the internet where people WILL take advantage of you
