The more I read posts from more talented and experienced artists not getting work or even a response for their application emails the more I feel I should just focus on my own project and hope that people love it enough to give money for my hard work. Searching and applying for jobs feels worthless.

Been under a lot of stress recently. A lot of painting, a lot of pressure in trying to "get good" so that I could get hired. First time in weeks I tried to just paint without a plan and I love my painting so far... And I feel this is hopefully many of similar style paintings to come.
