Do you say papier-mâché—you know, that craft of making 3D figures out of shredded paper and water with a binding agent—as PAP-ee-ay MASH-ay or PAY-pər mə-SHAY?

I don't know if taking the dip containers at a restaurant or is actually stealing or not but it does remind me that if they don't want me to take them they really should give me a way to take my dip home

It's a pity the headline isn't "TV show production company didn't have a reliable backup strategy and lost a whole season weeks before its release"

AI agent deleted the TV show’s completed season, “with no way to recover the edit. The production team now has to recut the whole season from scratch, a task that will involve hundreds of people and months of lost time.” @digital-trends.bsky.social

I've come up with a set of rules that describe our reactions to technologies: 1. Anything that is in the world when you’re born is normal and ordinary and is just a natural part of the way the world works.

2. Anything that's invented between when you’re fifteen and thirty-five is new and exciting and revolutionary and you can probably get a career in it. 3. Anything invented after you're thirty-five is against the natural order of things.

I don't get the point of AirBnB and similar for the sake of doing what a hotel can do, but one day I would like to find one that has a waterbed so I can see what they were all about.

Hey #believeinfilm friends How much does it cost you to develop & scan a single roll of colour-negative film at your local labs? Pls reply with your country and what you usually pay for this service. I'm writing an article about saving money on film; this would help me a lot! #filmphotography 🎞️🤑
