Looking back at CRAVE Guitars' August article (Part I of 'A Timeline of Guitar History in 400+ Snippets'), a graphic illustration was added to illustrate the timeline. This complements Part II published today. Truth. Peace. Love. Music. Love Vintage Guitars ❤️🎸 #craveguitars #vintageguitars

Awesome time at the Sierra Ferrell show in Shelburne, VT, while visiting colleges with my daughter. Sierra is a generational talent! #livemusic #SierraFerrell #music #musicsky

The American people need to realize that as fast as things have been burning down, the rebuild will not be snap your fingers 🫰and it’s all fixed. Democrats need to fight and hold people accountable, legislate.

After only 32 years plus 2 weeks since my last Phish show, I finally made it back to see them live. Turns out they were practicing that whole time. They’ve only gotten better! Two great nights of outstanding live music at Fenway Park.

I’m sorry, but Dana Bash is the worst adversarial interviewer on national news. She consistently gets steamrolled, seems unprepared, relies only on the notes in front of her (which she gets lost in), and can’t react in real time. It’s so frustrating.

Well, it appears at least 50% of this post was right. (Odds are, the other 50% is too.) apnews.com/article/hegs...

I feel like 50% of the shit show we’re living through right now is due to mania on the right being fed by paranoia-inducing media, and 50% is the result of insecure, middle-aged men OD’ing on testosterone supplements to feel more pumped up.

I'm tired of reading Bluesky and other posts from non-US people asking "What is *wrong* with your government?!" - as if we're all to blame for the current situation (and as if their situations are just perfect).

The rest of us are trying hard to get our old country and government back, but there's no guarantee of success. FWIW, the old one was far from perfect, but it was orders of magnitude better - for Americans and the global population - than the current government.

I'm tired of reading Bluesky and other posts from non-US people asking "What is *wrong* with your government?!" - as if we're all to blame for the current situation (and as if their situations are just perfect).

The truth is, we know what's wrong. It was taken over by that meaningful part of our population who favors totalitarianism over liberal democracy. Yes - that's a thing that we're seeing the world over. America isn't immune. We thought we were - as a beacon of freedom for the world - but alas...

This was allowed to happen because of the other meaningful part of our population that doesn't vote because they're either lazy or naive. There are myriad reasons that group is so large and possibly growing. Too many to begin examining here.

Seems like a good time to reshare my son Webb Constable's piece on Jalen Brunson from May 2024. Prescient. For those curious, Webb has been covering HS sports for The Boston Globe for the past 6 months as part of @northeasternu.bsky.social's excellent co-op program. substack.com/home/post/p-...

I seriously think we need to prepare for Trump refusing to leave office at the end of his term, or one of his cronies setting roots as the new ‘president’, all with congressional support. They will either manipulate or ignore elections, starting with the upcoming midterms, to stay in power.

HaHaHaHaHa!

This is amazing - @kevinolearytv 🤡 is fearmongering about Chinese agents opposing his giant Utah data center… but it’s 2 young local girls in Utah who hilariously call him (and his “dumbass hat”) out👇🏽 Full: www.instagram.com/reel/DYU074V...

Wife: “How are the socks doing?” I look at my feet: “Got a hole in one toe. Otherwise, they’re just fine.” Wife: “The Red Sox, ya idjit!” 😂 #NotASportsGuy!

Five bucks says Trump wants to build his highly secure ballroom/temple (and the ultra-secure, military-grade facility beneath it) just so he can burrow his way in after he's either impeached or voted out of office and refuse to leave.

Listening to Tucker Carlson's interview with his brother that's getting press as Tucker's 'apology' for supporting Trump. All I hear are two racist, science-denying, conspiracy theorist morons lamenting that Trump isn't as racist and science denying as them - so they can no longer support him.

Basically, it boils down to this: "I voted for Trump to tear apart our country, but he's not doing it the way I want. So I'm sorry (not sorry) I supported him." This isn't a time to pat Tucker on the back for his epiphany. He's just as abhorrent and idiotic as always. And so is his brother.

My rockstar of a daughter took me to see rockstar @madicunningham.bsky.social in Boston this weekend. It was extraordinary! She and Jesse Chandler, along with Sam Weber to open, are master songwriters, musicians, and performers. Awesome night with my daughter! #HappyDad #LiveMusic #Music #MusicSky

Found this poster from the Mid-Summer Music Festival (or as we called it, the "Bill Graham Festival") in 1991. I just graduated from high school in New England and was living in Boulder, CO, with buddies for a summer. After gas and tickets, we had $0, but still ripped it up for 2 stellar days.

Sunday: Allman Bros - Mind blowing. 1st show of many Hot Tuna - Fantastic. 1st of 2 (the next was in 2025) Widespread Panic - Top notch. Their Bill Graham debut. Saw them again in college - also stellar Grisman and Taj - Excellent as expected 1st and only time seeing them

We rolled back to Boulder in an overheating VW that didn't like high altitude - smiles on our faces and heads full of music. Bill G. died in a helicopter crash just a few months later. He brought immeasurable joy to so many peoples' lives. He holds an honored seat in the pantheon of rock & roll.
