I think a 6. I appreciate the changes/depth up front, but we really could have used a wingback for depth/cover. I don't think Cacace will stay fit down the back stretch, but I guess we will see.

✍️ Wrexham have landed their third signing of the winter transfer window, with Bailey Cadamarteri joining from Sheffield Wednesday for a fee believed to be around £1m. The 20-year-old striker has signed a contract until the end of the 2028/29 season.

It's being reported that Wrexham are pushing to get a deal done for Portsmouth defender Terry Devlin before the window closes. This could be the deal which really caps things off if it materialises.

Elliot Lee was widely expected to make a loan move away from Wrexham during the transfer window, but the destination was largely kept under wraps until now. Makes good sense for all parties.

We can confirm that Elliot Lee will join Doncaster Rovers on loan for the remainder of the 2025/26 campaign. Wishing you all the best, Elliot 👊 🔴⚪ #WxmAFC www.wrexhamafc.co.uk/news/2026/fe...

Wrexham could still bring in a couple of new signings before the 7pm transfer deadline, with deals for Barnsley's Davis Keillor-Dunn and Sheffield Wednesday's Bailey Cadamarteri at an advanced stage. Elliot Lee and Ryan Hardie are most likely to leave. www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footba...

💵 For those asking in the last 24 hours how Wrexham could fund a transfer bid of £19m, you may have your answer. A fresh share issue of £47.8m has just been listed on Companies House, likely relating to the stake recently sold to Apollo Sports Capital.

🔴 Absolutely gutted about James McClean's exit from Wrexham. I feel privileged to have seen him pull on the red shirt. Viewed as a controversial signing by outsiders, he ended up being embraced by supporters. Here are my thoughts on his time at Wrexham from the latest @fidpod.bsky.social pod.

I don't know what to say about tonight other than that it was absolutely amazing. My eyes sprung a leak at the end because apparently you become soppier as you get older. These are the good times so breathe them in.

Wrexham weather watch: There hasn't been a huge amount of snowfall overnight and most has been washed away by rain, with the roads generally clear. I'd be surprised if tonight's FA Cup game between Wrexham and Nottingham Forest is called off.

Quietly hoping this snow goes away in time for tomorrow night's cup game. The weather in Wrexham isn't exactly that bad, but the whole country goes into meltdown the second we get a tiny bit of adverse weather.

Breaking: Wrexham have just announced Apollo Sports Capital as new minority investors. Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac will retain majority ownership, but with Apollo providing funding for the redevelopment of the Racecourse Ground.
