And let me guess, Susan Collins will post a statement shortly expressing her "concerns" about this.... What are the chances either of them, or any of their GQP colleagues, will move one nanometer away from this vile regime...0.0%

Trump and MAGA Republican’s Big, Ugly Bill more than tripled ICE funding while slashing $1 trillion dollars from Medicaid. Now this roving caravan of lawless thugs are terrorizing our cities. Congress needs to #FundHealthcareOverICE and do away with whatever this is. Watch👇👇

This is precisely why looking only at Noem or Baldoni focuses too low; it's the same myopia that caused the Garland DOJ to focus on those who defecated in the Capitol and attacked officers, but not the people who planned and caused them to be there and protected them after their crimes.

Bipartisan negotiators released a DHS funding bill that does not significantly reduce ICE and CBP’s funding nor rein in the agencies’ abuses of power. Make no mistake: Any Democrat who votes for this bill is complicit in Trump’s campaign of terror. Grow a spine and vote no.

I’ve been an Indiana #Hoosiers fan since growing up in Bloomington in the 60s/70s, but completely forgot they had a football team until last year. Miracles do happen!

2/ and figure out a way to hold all federal taxes in a state-controlled escrow account until the lawlessness ends.

. @liccardo.house.gov As a constituent and supporter, I ask you to use the Jan 30 end of the November CR to block all further federal funding unless/until: 1) Congress passes, and Trump signs, an extension of ACA subsidies; ...

/2 ) the 'administration' complies with the Epstein Files Transparency Act *fully and completely*; 3) the administration agrees to halt all further military actions in the Western hemisphere without explicit approval from Congress.

About time!

The New York Times@nytimes.com

Palo Alto, California, has changed drastically as Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Page and other tech founders have scooped up multiple properties. Greer Stone, a councilman, plans to introduce legislation that would restrict the way the town’s wealthiest homeowners can operate.

The woman who opened the door started with "I hate the idea of Prop 50; I'm proud that California has non-partisan districting and that's the way it should stay...but I moved here from Texas three years ago, and every friend I still have there has made me swear to vote FOR 50"...

Red Alert! (pun intended)

A new USPS policy enacted by Trump's first Postmaster General could delay mail nationwide. The little-known initiative coupled with the GOP’s ongoing push to restrict mail voting could put millions of the party’s rural voters at risk in future elections.

Just a reminder that there was nothing remotely close to a MAGA landslide or mandate in 2024 (* the "MAGA Faithful estimate is my own, not empirical).

California, this November 4th, the whole country is counting on you. Prop 50 puts our elections back on a level playing field, preserves independent redistricting over the long term, and lets the people decide. So return your ballot today. Vote yes on 50.

So true!

For every ad that Facebook serves today, there used to be a local rag in every community. It was paid for by the local car dealer, grocery, and furniture store. That money moved around & stayed close -Jeff Frick - Jeff Frick: Future of Work & So Much More w/ Chris Moeller youtu.be/Z5eXbnwb2Zw?...
