Tbh among all the other reasons to be pissed off at Elon Musk, I'm pissed off his new car is stealing Denshattack's thunder. Seriously, go play Denshattack, it's so good. I'd call it game of the year but tbh it's probably the only 2026 game I'm likely to play by year's end anyways 😅

Getting almost daily ads for Byron Donalds in the meatspace mail lately. Almost every one accuses David Jolly of supporting trans surgeries for minors. With a citation. That literally just says "The Daily Wire".

Grew up watching NCIS with the family, and even long before I really processed what awful zionist copraganda it is, every single episode that mentioned video games made me want to throw a controller through the TV. High scores? In an MMO? F U Sean Murray.

Fucking, one episode their brilliant plan to hack into a perp's computer had them bring a 10yo in to play a Fortnite clone in fucking MTAC. Gibbs, that is one of the most secure communication channels on the planet, you just compromised the entire US armed forces.

Is it just me or is generative AI in the tech industry almost ableist in a sense? Like here is a field where an analytical mind thrives and instead all of the management class is trying to replace that with management language.

Like if you give me a deeply technical programming task I know perfectly well how to implement that by hand, but the industry now wants me to put that into a human language that can be interpreted by a model the way a manager would instruct their subordinates and I have no idea how to even begin.

Man, it would be really nice if "everyone gets injected with enough HRT to become impossibly jacked brutes or impossibly curvy bimbos" would continue being a fetish and not, yknow, an increasingly plausible plan of the US government.

Suddenly remembering that DraftKings tried to recruit me for work during a couple of my job searches. Would have been late 2010s. I recall their Glassdoor complaining that their office reeked of sexism and bro culture. I'm generally anti professional sports anyways so I never bit, but worth noting.

So JessieStarTF on Twitter made a post about this chair again, and I have to admit I'd never seen the chair before, and if I did I completely forgot and it's just SO SUKI SHAPED so I had to make it happen. Thank you for the inspiration, it took very little to make me wanna loveseat her!

oh for fuck's sake AI CAN'T KILL PEOPLE. It CAN'T. It's just an algorithm, it's just ones and zeroes. What CAN kill people is other people giving AI access to dangerous things. AI can't have a role in someone's death unless someone makes a conscious decision to put AI in something deadly.

Everyone who says AI can lead to human extinction is shifting the blame away from the very human and very deliberate decisions made by people who show enough carelessness AT BEST about humanity to allow for things they know are dangerous.

It's almost as if the reasons tasks considered "menial labor" are less desirable for work have little to do with the actual nature of the work bring done and more to do with management taking advantage of workers' survival needs to exploit them.

An underappreciated way in which the Simpsons was prescient is that it predicted the trajectory of many open world games
