ive already gone through a rewrite though, so I really dont want to do this again. its gone from c -> rust -> now golang. this iteration the biggest differences are that i want to make it so people other than me can use it, make the pc tui not suck, and make an android app instead of using termux

after the pain of compiling webgtk twice on gentoo, its been really nice otherwise. ill also say that things feel even faster than my nixos system, theoretically running a really similar software stack. differences being kernel and init system, but ofc ive compiled much of the desktop stuff too now
