riding down Leland Greenway between Ashland and Clark with a popular park, daycare, restaurants, and bars right there a driver was gunning it and honking at me to get in the bike lane. seems they thought the contraflow space was where is was supposed to be bikes are not the issue

chatting with UA rider, the 7th I saw on 2 mile commute to/from daycare it’s freedom to me, the kids love it, and we got rid of a car. i love this bike 12 e-bikes, a large number of acoustics getting kids to and from school and folks walking to the train along Leland and Wilson

i should wear a suit and tie more often on the Cargo Bike. so many smiles and curious looks carting dressed up wife and kid bikes are great

south & west side Alders that block Chicago Complete Streets Ordinance rules of transit efficiency, bike/ped safety, and traffic calming are enabling this type of reckless behaviour. this that voted unanimously for this ordinance yet fight against the implementation are failing their constituents

i have spent a fair amount of time on Leland Greenway the past few days @ Western on Sat/Sun i saw 21 red light runners, BMW straight up parked in front of bike/ped 🏝️ 85%^ of cars rolling stops TAKE THE LANE on a greenway, do not allow cars to pass, this is our space absent a 🚨 give no quarter
