The drag/makeup and the inability to relate to boys and the weird voice and the fascination with finding ways that girls were similar to me were just because I was broken in some way. Surely. (Chain-quoting is such a weird feeling. Very… Normal.)

All of the trans girls at my college were better than me at everything so I had to do whatever they were doing to catch up. Also I started building gunpla and needed more precise, delicate hands to improve the quality of my builds.

and when I say to listen to us, I don't just mean saying "trans rights are human rights". I mean to listen when we say things like let trans kids play sports with their gender, trans women are biological women who change their sex, and let trans kids who want them have hormones by AT LEAST 13yo.

For the past 8 years, I’ve replayed it over and over, listened through the soundtrack, watched through the cutscenes, collected fanart, talked about it to anyone I could, everything. I still cry watching the final cutscene, every single time.

I’ve always appreciated video games as an art form, but XC2 stuck in my mind and made me want to someday make games too (and then continued to stick in my mind for 8 years). I want to make something that’s special to people in the same way XC2 is special to me. That’s my role in this world. ❤️💛💚

I first played XC2 in 2017, after getting it as a gift on Christmas. I was 15 and scatterbrained, so it took me a while to finally play all the way through, but by the end I was in love. It’s not the first game to tell a good story, and far from the best, but something about it was special to me.
