Sadly, my "Nighthawks" adventure is finished... When this game by @richardcobbett.bsky.social and @wadjeteyegames.com ended for me after 47,5 hours, I was very sad it was over. And that's why it will most likely wind up in a very high place in my annual top ten.

"Roots in the Sky" by @madit-games.bsky.social deserves a very high place in my top ten of 2026! The world is once again saved in 14,5 hours, and it was great fun to play with Lars and Alice again.

Oh, it will be great to see @davidbfox.com again! Perhaps this time I won't be too shy to talk to him a bit more😅 At least I won't have to lug around any big boxes at @adventurex.bsky.social this time; he already signed mine last year at the @homecomputermuseum.computermuseum.social.ap.brid.gy!

Been a while since I played the classic point 'n click/text parser hybrid adventure game "Spellcasting 201: The Sorcerer's Appliance". But even after three hours, I don't feel like I'm making much progress...

"Crowns and Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit" by Tag of Joy was a great adventure! Now we wait for the release of the sequel, hopefully of the same quality, but perhaps a bit longer ;) I for one have already wishlisted "Crowns and Pawns: Amber Road"!

When I was five hours into "Crowns and Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit" by Tag of Joy I already encountered some doozies of puzzles. I'm hoping the recently announced next game, "Amber Road", also published by @headup.bsky.social, will be just as much fun! You can read about this playthrough on my blog!

Lithuanian developer Tag of Joy announced "Crowns and Pawns: Amber Road", the sequel to "Crowns and Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit", published by @headup.bsky.social. Perfect time to dig up my playthrough of the first game and create some buzz!

Crowns and Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit (2022) by Tag of Joy and published by @headup.bsky.social is in my top ten of favorite modern traditional adventure games! It's great to hear it's getting a sequel! I hope we get to go down, down, down the road, down the Amber Road soon!

Its brutally difficult old-school design will feel like “udder” madness to most, but if you have a thirst for impossible puzzles, "Lost on Cow Island" may just charm you with its beautiful indie production values.
