On Sunday, we had a wonderful time in Traralgon; hearing from various candidates standing in the state election. Many common themes. Most of us want, & have a right to expect, govts to provide UBS (Universal Basic Services) etc. And sharing thoughts and ideas with each other was good for the soul

It is painful to witness the images coming from the West Bank. The Israeli destructive machine stops at nothing: it uproots entire olive groves, erases years of labor, and devastates what for Palestinians represents life, history, and identity. The Zionist entity be forever dammed 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Important to recognize that this is a common view in Israel; one increasingly held by younger Israelis, who are turning further hard right, like the rest of that society. Western politicians advocating a two-State solution should note that no candidate in the coming election is talking about it.
