I came across the original home-made 1090MHz antenna that I built to test ADSB Flight Tracking before I graduated to a proper one. It's seen better days but it's only a panel-mount SO239 connector and a few bits of copper wire, so I'm going to chuck it in a drawer as memorabilia.

.@bsky.app just wanted to validate my age (it's a thing now in Australia). It asked to allow use of the camera to look at me or use credit card etc etc. I allowed camera. It showed a face shape and I aligned with it and it said something to the effect of "Yep, you're an old bastard" <sigh>

I’m also very pleased with the Bougainvillea that I put in last year but slightly-concerned about moving it when I take out the spa. Might have to move it earlier as I plan to remove the spa in the winter (there are some SERIOUS wasps living under it and they are out in summer!
