Apologies for my slowness with these couple of comms 🙏 Currently catching up now. I also made the goofy financial decision to spend all my available $35 on grocery delivery yesterday instead of paying for my $25 phone service that's due tomorrow 🫠 Also currently experiencing an internet outage. Fun!

Unsure how long the internet outage would last, it's been out since 11AM today. I somehow predicted an internet outage would happen around my phone service renewal. Such is timing and karma, I suppose. Hoping the internet works before my service turns off, or until I have at least $25 again. 😭

I literally forgot I ordered these...

My brain just turned off and forgot to look at the tracking updates. It wasn't until a family member opened the door at 7pm and saw I had a package. I would've bought all three but I Am Comically Broke 🤑🗣️‼️🖤 (sorry Pure Vanilla Cookie!!!)

I was so excited to participate in the Doggust art prompt this year, only to forget it's literally Doggust month and I only NOW realize that when there's 3 days left 💔

I know I can still do it in September a month late but MAN... or should I say, DOG... First I missed International Wolf Day a day after it happened weeks ago and now Doggust 😭

I got to see the lunar eclipse tonight, for the first time in YEARS in a clear night sky!

I'd always miss eclipses the past several years either because of cloudy skies or I sleep through it without knowing until a day after it happened. I'm already hormonal but man, this got me emotional. Thank you for allowing me to experience a lunar eclipse once more.

I hope to be able to see the next solar eclipse, whenever it happens! The last time I got to experience one in sunny conditions was in 2017. Every solar eclipse after that? I missed because of rainy weather (except for one sunny one that I slept through unknowingly).

I want my 30s to be filled with so many adventures and opportunities that I had to miss out on in my 20s (going to cons, having a car, having a house, a friend group irl, going shopping, cosplaying/fursuiting/self-expression, going on walks, having a job, financial stability/security, etc...)

Thank goodness summer is almost over, I'm ready for the cooler seasons! 🍂❄️

More specifically the second half of autumn, the first half is just the summer heat hanging on. Second half of autumn is also stormy still, which I dislike, but at least it means more cold fronts!

My favorite season is winter, but I do appreciate the transitional season of autumn when it starts to get colder later on! The only thing holding me back from LOVING autumn is dead leaves. Sensory-wise, it makes me uncomfortable, especially after it rains & they're all slimy & cling on everything.

I have a solo dev indie game project that's pretty much only been concept art during the entirety of its development... but it officially turned a decade old this year! I'm excited to finally bring this story to life... tho I'm not ready to share it yet, so it'll be a few years!

Admittedly, it'll take me a while to get used to seeing Raiders fanart of Shiver and Frye because I'm so conditioned to the "X in their hair" thing being a quirky-headcanon-design "me" thing over a year before Raiders was announced my brain registers Raiders fanart as loafbudification fanart lol

The best way I can explain this feeling is this: a secret handshake type of thing that you do as a personal, silly "you" thing. Coincidentally, you see your "you" thing being done by another source, then suddenly everyone else is doing it, so it no longer feels like a quirky "you" thing.

I now know why they have that design detail (because the spiralhite salmonids have X-shaped scars on their scales), but the placement is a funny coincidence! Although it's merely a shape and I don't own it, it makes me feel like my Shiver & Frye headcanon designs are eternalized in Raiders haha

I made this wolf pack design over a week ago for my ACGGOODS store and they arrived a few days ago! I got the matte stickers + acrylic pin :D The design says "join my pack"

The one thing I'd change is increase the border on the acrylic pin, but the quality for both of these came out great! I think I'll stick with matte for most of my stickers from here on out haha

I think for my OC/non-fanart art pieces I'm personally proud of, whether it's drawings or 3D models, imma just start gatekeeping them for my peace cuz almost all my personal favs underperforms and then I fall into the bad habit of validating my art via fluctuating numbers. 😅

I COULD just post them as exclusives on my Ko-if but I don't know if my art's/OCs' even worth it that much. X_XI'm unsure if I even get over 5+ views there... I've had one monthly member there for a few months, which is awesome, but my Ko-fi is vacant... 2 AM thoughts lol

Though... thank you to those that do like my OC and/or fanart-that-isn't-to-splatoon-deltarune-or-crk 😔🫶 I know you gotta like... post more about your OCs & their world for people to care about them or to feel some connection with them

I'll draw my usual artfight results on which characters received the most art. I'm honestly surprised by the results this time around (hint: the previous years' top 3 winners aren't in top 3!)

I just woke up, but that's it for ArtFight! It's been my most productive one so far, breaking my usual record of creating 10 attacks (I made 20+!) And while this might be the year I received the least amount of art (30+, compared to 40 ~ 60 in prev years), THE ART WAS AMAZING!!!

I'm glad I was able to keep my promise in having this year be my most active, I was able to get to 31% battle ratio Also making multiple 3D attacks legit got me back into loving 3D modeling again, you have no idea 🙏🙏🙏
