Finally, James O'Queef is going to prison.

Jon Collins@jcollins.bsky.social

The Hennepin County Attorney's Office is charging James O'Keefe and Cam Higby with felonies for unlawful voting and ID theft for filming themselves misrepresenting their identities to election judges during the Minnesota primary as voters who were registered in the precinct.

Here it comes. The impetus to shut down the midterms.

This is really gonna shake those "the NBA is rigged" feelings.

The NBA has reached deals with Kalshi and Polymarket to make them the league's preferred prediction markets partners. The companies can now use NBA IP on their platforms, while the NBA gets right of approval on markets that they offer. That and more: www.nytimes.com/athletic/772...

I love seeing all of these people who don't know shit about baseball correlating the Dodgers losing streak with going to the White House. Dipshits, the Dodgers went to the White House last year too. Then they won the World Series. How about just shutting the fuck up about it?

I feel like there's a contingent of folks on this app who just started watching baseball and don't realize the Dodgers went to the White House last year too. I get it. You're disappointed. But the surprise you've shown is the weirdest shit.

Establishment Dems want us to focus on fighting Trump. Bernie Dems know we're focused on the lack of affordability, being squeezed at every turn by massive corporations, the politicians they've bought, and a desire to decouple ourselves from international associations that don't benefit us.

"After the last month, Democratic leadership should be seriously taking stock of their position," writes Ben Davis. "The energy is on their left. The people are on their left."

Because they put the domestic league behind an exclusive pay wall in order to watch it (AppleTV+). Because the USMNT hasn't gotten any better than they were 25 years ago. Because our biggest talents play in Europe. US Soccer, as a whole, has failed at growing the sport.

Why don't we like soccer in America? I enjoy watching it during the summer Olympics. But like it has speed, physicality, athleticism, and it has a huge brand worldwide. Like why aren't we more invested?

The sideline seats are double what I was paying in 2014 and the team is half as good. Since the run in 2014, they haven't won a playoff series outside of the COVID year. Despite having winners at coach in Arenas and Porter, ownership won't spend on talent and plays on turf in the middle of nowhere.

San Antonio crapped their pants. They kept shooting 3s when they were up by more than 20. They played Mazzulla ball and shot themselves out of the game. There's your keys. Now give me money.

What changed between now and the original arrest? The police on the scene said the bruises weren't consistent with strangulation. Either way, this is getting uglier and I don't like it. I imagine they're not going to cut bait this soon, but it's a bad look after being pretty clean the last 5 years.

The "I hate CM Punk" crowd is so childish and tired. They're the ones eating up internet rumors, reading the dirt sheets, and swallowing the Meltzer nonsense without filter. I guess you can't take time off these days without a bunch of neckbeard incels racing to fulfill their confirmation bias.

More evidence that chucking up 3s isn't how you win in the playoffs. Mazzulla should be fired but won't be.

I'm absolutely gobsmacked by Nas getting snubbed from this list. What, exactly, was the criteria here? Much respect to Missy and Young Thug, but I can't fathom how either of them could be ranked here and, arguably, the best hip hop storyteller wasn't.

If the owners force a lockout and wind up canceling the 2027 season in order to get their salary cap, the players better force a salary floor. The problem with baseball are these cheap owners who refuse to bring up players in order to manipulate their service time.

Anyone who has been paying attention should have foreseen this. Brady goes in first. The other two go in after. Simple as that.

A stunner from @dvnjr.bsky.social and me: Bill Belichick is not a first ballot Hall of Famer. He didn't get elected this year. The 8-time champion failed to 40 out of the 50 votes required for induction. www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/...

Once again, establishment Dems still don't get it. They scrapped the 2024 election autopsy because they don't like the answers. Just another example of why their approval rating is so low. A bunch of out of touch Principal Skinners who think the voters are the ones who don't get it.

Michael Felger and Tony Massarotti have been lamenting sports media for a while now when it comes to reporters who cover the teams.
