I like the throat singing The Board(?) does when you get a finisher effect; I like to think it's it/them signaling its/their approval like "YEEAAHH GEEET THEEEEIIIRR AAAASSSS WWHIIIITE BOOOOYY" #ControlResonant

Alright. I signed up for the Frame lottery. I don't know if I actually want to pay that much for something yet, but I've got time to make up my mind if I win.

Oh. I'm suddenly allowed to upload videos to Patreon as an adult creator, just like that? They must have gotten tired of me and others uploading animated GIFs that are 1/10 the quality and 10 times the size of video files.

That said, I'm still a little hesitant to believe it after they originally added videos and sent emails to everyone saying they could use them, only to follow up with an email to adult creators saying "Sorry, we sent you that by accident and this does NOT apply to you."

It's probably a weird and futile thing to want, but I really want to play FFXIV in VR. I feel like it would look really cool. Yeah, I know there's some third-party mods, but I hear they barely or don't work.

Work on moving Hungry Critters into Godot continues. Geier is now in and controllable with basic animations, and I've got some basic menu functionality. I've spent a lot of time tweaking and adjusting the general lighting to have the degree of depth that I want. #HungryCritters #longlevygamedev

Here's a still frame to better see the detail. I've been having to adjust Geier's textures for the new lighting and I'm not done yet, so there's some miscolored patches.

First steps in Godot. Lotti and the basic snowy scene are now in with basic animations and controls (some details will need a bit more work). I'm pretty happy with the engine so far! #HungryCritters #longlevygamedev

I've decided to move development of Hungry Critters to Godot. Three.js has been fun to tinker with, but I now feel it is holding me back. It's not a game engine, so all physics, collision, controls, and sound functionality I've made from scratch, which has been slow. #HungryCritters #LongLevyGameDev

All assets and animations should be able to be reused. Godot appears to have a full suite of features, so the new version should be better in every way. I'll even be able to make a desktop version for those who have been asking for it.

I DID IT. I know it's hard to get much from these graphs, I'll make a working example as soon as I can. Red = wave 1 Green = wave 2 Blue = combined waves

Hmm. Yes... okay... mhm... Trying to come up with an algorithm for predicting jiggle physics with decaying sine waves for true frame independence. It's... very hard. If only I'd ever taken a calculus class. #longlevygamedev

OOF jogging with a KN95 mask on (for allergies) is pretty rough, I may have approached passing out for a period. Oh, also I just found out it's 100°F outside.

I've been going through all the ARR crafting quests lately and it's funny that the antagonist of 7AE just shows up and fucks with you at your day job #FinalFantasyXIV

something I like a lot in vore is prey struggles that are not very visible, but it's clearly pretty intense for the pred as they feel every movement and the prey (literally) kicks their ass from the inside and the pred has to struggle to hold them in clench, gulp, suck, gotta keep them down

So it turns out "Fewer Underlabs" means "not a single Underlab outside of town." You have to run all the way back from town every time you die, so the shortcuts are actually important. So yes, for dungeons you have to both get to it and then get through it entirely without Underlabs.

I have to run past Maxi every time on that side of town because I simply can't deal with her. She kills in three hits and is incredibly unpredictable. If she beats me twice in a row, I lose a level in every stat. I don't know man, Ura mode is kind of a nightmare. I'm not sure if I want to continue.

Thought I found a pastry I could safely eat, but then my glucose went too high anyway. Couldn't figure out why until I looked at the nutrition again, turns out the serving size was for half a pastry, an amount no one would ever eat in one sitting. Serving size got me again.

It's kind of nuts for me to think about how some people didn't choose hammer and go the whole game without thinking about dodge rolls, strafe rolls into position, dig-dodge-to-air-charges, overcharges, follow-up flurries, Brisk Brew skid charges, just none of it #MinaTheHollower
