Will add an #update tag to future project updates too, just to make that easier to keep track of. That being said, I'll probs also be doing a *bit* more yapping + reposting of things that interest me on here. So, it'll still be messy... but at least ya can find stuff easier :^)

On the one hand, while it's looking pretty rough these days it's just as fun to play through (though I still find the back-end a bit of a slog, even though I've come around to enjoying horror-themed Thief missions much more).

On the other, Metal Age and the two decades (coming on three) worth of fan missions that've built on that foundation have refined + extended so much from the 1st game that it's never really my 1st choice when I want to play Thief. If I'm in the mood I'm usually booting up 2 or its FMs instead.

Maybe micros are actually in-universe pets/toys. Or maybe it's just in-universe roleplay. Maybe the macro is also their bf. Or maybe he's just curious and happy to indulge them. Maybe he's only doing it as a service 'cause they're paying to get used. So many options...

So that's what I'll be doing for Summertime Shrinking: further updates for it will be on how much of the final version is rendered (expect an update on its progress near the end of each month).

This animation is 4min and 45sec long, so even though it's rather resource-light (and being rendered in EEVEE too) it's still gonna take quite a *while* to re-render everything w/ the new env + lights. I will also be doing some ahead of time prep-work for coming audio/voice stuff too.
