I am so tired of mental illnesses being placed on someone doing something harmful. There is so much stigma that we are having to fight constantly, please stop adding to it.

Please do not resort to ableism when someone does something you don't like. I see it everytime someone famous does something, and I am tired of beings equating evil acts with disabilities. Using ableist words and slurs is going to harm disabled beings and builds on so many abliest ideas.

I think we missed a huge opportunity to normalize masking as a public health tool. We eradicated an entire strain of the flu with Covid prevention measures. Masking shows respect for those around you. It shows solidarity with the disability community. It shows you value long term health.
